It held up nicely for Texas heat. Took it to the beach and did notice a huge difference on our heat but when the winds came, had to be careful cause it almost took the umbrella with it. Overall good purchase so far two months of use and no issues noted.

My 7th grader uses this for when it rains and he walks to/from the bus stop. Love that it folds down so the rain drips out instead of pooling in the umbrella - so you dont have to open the umbrella and let it sit to dry out. I definitely recommend!

Everyone needs a quality umbrella. As I live in South Florida, when it does rain, at times, it really rains! When this happens, I need to be sure that I have an umbrella that will keep me dry, and will not get blown inside out, as a few of my previous umbrellas have done. There seems to be a lot of thought, and technology, put into this XIXVON umbrella. To start, naturally, it is waterproof. It folds in reverse, has an ergonomic handle, a reflective safety strip, and UV protection. One button automatically opens and closes it. This umbrella consists of a lightweight metal that wont rust. It has 10 reinforced ribs, which are supposed to make it windproof. I dont know about that claim, and hope I never find out that its not true. So far, though I havent been in any strong winds, the umbrella has worked as advertised. Hopefully, this will continue to be the case. Its kind of stylish, as well.

The umbrella opens repeatedly in the inverted position, making it unusable in a rainstorm. Unlike it illustration, there is no LED illumination on the underside. It is an unremarkable umbrella with a unique design that is best avoided.

This umbrella comes in a carrying bag, but also has a protective cover. It has a hanging strap, as well. You just push the button and it telescopes out. Then push down and it closes down. Then you just wrap the strap around it and you can put it away. As luck would have it, it rained in my state today, and I was able to try it out. It repelled the water perfectly! It’s really well made and I’m thrilled with the product. I can highly recommend it.

This umbrella is a solidly built version of the very inexpensive umbrellas you will find hanging on a rack at Walmart. The fabric is superior and the mechanical operation (push button to open) is smooth working and effortless. It opens with a satisfying whoosh. Closing it is a bit harder--the fabric is substantial and getting it all back into the sleeve is a challenge (but it can be done.) I am all for better quality--even when it costs a bit more. This umbrella is great in the briefcase or in the car and will certainly not let you down if it is windy.

This is a super heavy duty umbrella. Ive had umbrellas in the past that popped open by pushing a button, but this umbrella opens AND closes with the push of a button. Its very unique in that it it folds inside out so it keeps the water contained & doesnt leave a wet mess where you set it. It is made of thick material & the sun doesnt shine through so it offers great UV protection & keeps you cooler on sunny days. I feel like two average size people could fit under it easily & stay dry. I havent tested it in really high winds but it seems promising that it wont get blown inside out because of the high quality. The cover that it comes with is also thick material & has a zipper that opens it partway so you dont have to fight to put the umbrella back in it. It is fairly heavy for an umbrella & too bulky to fit in a purse nicely. Its a great quality umbrella but wouldnt pay full price for it though.

To be honest I decided on this for the UV protection. I live in Phoenix and this umbrella has that rating. I have a umbrella to us during rain and sun separately, this is all in one and collapses taking up minimal space in my bag. I can’t wait to use it during this summer.
