20-11-2024This is the first top notch umbrella I have owned. It springs open quickly, so dont point it at someone when opening. I just took the open umbrella and put the top down on the floor and pushed down on it and it closed and locked. So many times, I have tried to close other umbrellas and they keep popping open, this one catches and locks. The tab that you wrap around the umbrella looks a little weak, so dont pull on it hard, it is big enough to close up the umbrella to fit into bag. It is dark underneath, which I like, keeps glare down. I will use it in the summer when Im outdoors in the hot sun, attach to my chair, as we do a lot of daytime/summer activities. Also, I use an umbrella on the dining table over my laptop to decrease the glare, and this works great. It has a great shaped dome and the handle is long enough. THe switch to open is easy to use, and the handle is comfortable.

> 3 dayI do appreciate how the umbrella opens the opposite direction so that a bunch of water doesnt pour on you as you try to close it. It is a really nice size, quality, and style. Easily opens and closes. Maybe if it had Built-in lights it would be worth a $100.

> 3 dayUmbrella comes with zipper open cover with a pull ring. Easy to get on and off umbrella. Push button and umbrella quickly opens. Push button again and fabric portion of the umbrella folds up - just have to push the very top of umbrella to compact the umbrella handle. In my opinion, I wouldnt let young kids use/open this umbrella because how quickly it deploys, and it takes a little bit of strength to compact the umbrella handle. The umbrella sometimes opens with the edge facing up. Gently pull the edge of umbrella down and the edge curve will change to downward. Not a big deal. Havent had a chance to use in windy conditions yet - will update review if any issues come up.

> 3 dayThis umbrella seems sturdier and thicker than most I’ve had before. It’s a really nice umbrella. It’s nice that it folds inside out to keep the wet side on the inside. I saw the price of this thing though, and I can’t see spending that kind of money on an umbrella. $90 is crazy for an umbrella.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is highly priced but I do think its worth the price, and heres why. It is small and portable, but big enough to provide good coverage when you need it in the rain or sun. When its not in use, unlike the other umbrellas, it folds pretty flat. Its not too lightweight but not too heavy either. I get that it needs to have some weight in order to be strong. I have not had a chance to wind-test it yet to confirm the durability, but looking at the 10 ribs, I am confident that it can handle the wind pressure. Because of these reasons, I find the price justified and I recommend it.

> 3 dayDue to the recent heavy rainstorms in our area, this auto reverse folding umbrella is a welcome addition to our umbrella collection. Good features: Worked well during our recent heavy downpours, especially from motor vehicle to destination building and vice versa. Easy, one button operation: press once to snap open and press again to collapse the umbrella, then compress the telescoping shaft. Big ~41 diameter when fully opened and ~13 when fully collapsed, compressed, and folded. Relatively lightweight. Good quality materials and workmanship. Reflective stripe along the perimeter of the umbrella for nighttime safety. Most folks dont know that umbrellas may be used to shield user from the sun too. Gimmicky reverse folding mechanism keeps raindrops on the inside of the umbrella when folded. Includes stout heavy nylon zippered carrying pouch. My go-to umbrella at this time. Concerns: Even with the wet surfaces on the inside of the umbrella, raindrops can still drip out of the top and openings. I simply place it in a passenger footwell that has a rubber floormat or fully fold it and dry it at home/destination fully opened. Susceptible to theft when traveling and placed in umbrella stands outside stores/shops/restaurants at certain foreign countries. Never store a wet umbrella fully folded thatll cause mildew damage. Even at 50% off, the $46 price (Jan. 2023) is a bit high.

> 3 dayI bought the umbrella in September 2021 and it has already broke. One of the spokes has broken in half and the spoke dangles from the top. I used this umbrella in the spring, summer and fall during my grandkids sports games to keep the sun off of me. It was never used in the rain, only in the sun. The umbrella did not stand up to wind. If it was windy I would have to hold on to it extra tight as it would turn inside out. Now that a spoke has broken it really is not worth using again. I like that it had UV protection in it but I have owned non UV protection umbrellas for a lot less money that are still being used. To only get a year’s worth of use from a $18.00 umbrella is not worth the money.

Greater than one weekI absolutely love this umbrella. Its easy to pop up and to get down. The button that pops it up, is also the same button to pop it down. Makes it easier gettting in and out of your car while its raining and in and out of your door.
