> 24 hourI wanted a compact, heavy duty umbrella to keep in my car. The rain and storms here can be very strong and random with strong wind and rain looking like it goes sideways. This umbrella feels sturdy and heavier than your average umbrella. It only has one button, used to open and close. When pushed to open, it opens quickly right away with no need to click it in place. When pushed to close, it just folds the petals back in and you need to manually push it down. Pushing it down does take a good amount of effort but it feels like thats the tradeoff for its sturdiness and being windproof.

> 24 hourThis was actually a better quality than I expected. Has some weight to hit. Should hold up nicely in a good storm. Nice and compact. Easy to use.

> 24 hourI ordered three small umbrellas, all different brands, for our trip to the UK next week. This is my favorite of the three. It opens and closes at the push of a button, fits in its case nicely, and its a well made, strong umbrella. Im not concerned it will break with normal use, it definitely is well-made and sturdy. > 24 hourThere will be no rain on our parade as long as we have this super sturdy umbrella. The pop button on the handle allows for easy opening without pinching fingers. The umbrella also folds up conveniently, making it easy to stow in a small purse or backpack.

> 24 hourI am really happy with this umbrella. It is small when folded up, and lightweight. We mainly use it for walks to school in the morning. Its even easy enough for a smaller kid to use.

> 24 hourI got this thinking it would be bigger than it is... It works nice and pops open easy, but its on the small side. Nice for travel, but youre going to get wet.

> 24 hourThis is the umbrella that sits in my bag all the time just in case and it has done a great job at being an umbrella and holding up against the abuse it faces in my bag. The one-button open and collapse is a great idea that has worked perfectly for me each time and makes getting the umbrella out quickly and really easy. However, most of its value comes from being able to almost instantly get it collapsed and into its bag when I get inside so water is not dripping all over the floor. When used in the rain it has held up great even in some decently high winds it hasnt broken or folded over on me. Finally, when speaking about the durability of the umbrella it is amazing. It has sat at the bottom of my backpack that gets used daily carrying around heavy laptops, books, and sometimes groceries with no issues with the umbrella. No tears, breaks, or bends, and no signs that its close to breaking either. Overall just a great umbrella that I am very happy about.

> 24 hourIt would be very difficult not to rate this umbrella 5 stars. Everything about it screams quality. Honestly, if you didnt know it was made in China youd think Germany or maybe the UK or somewhere they take umbrellas seriously. The canopy is made from Polyester and the main shaft and the inner part of each of the ribs are made of steel. The outer part of each rib are made from fiberglass. As you can see from my picture, there are also springs, tension arms, rivets, connectors.... its made from about 2 or 3 times as many parts as the cheap umbrellas I own. I suppose that might mean more opportunities for failure, but it all just seems well crafted. It springs open at the press of a button, and the top part collapses again with another press. One thing about this..once youve pressed the button to close it, you need to compress it all the way down again and fully close before re-opening. This is because some of the control cords inside the shaft area dont go back in until you do and so it wont lock out. Not a real issue, but something to know. It does take some force to close it fully again, but I dont find it an issue. If I were going to try to find fault its that the little black sleeve it comes with will just kind of fall off. It has no way to keep it closed. It would have been nice if it had a drawstring. Also, I found it slightly difficult to get the umbrella compressed down to its original diameter where the tab can wrap around it fully to engage the velcro. There is also no vent for wind if thats important to you. But overall, this is a high quality umbrella and feels like it will last a long time. Im quite pleased with it. I will update this review if anything changes. Like, subscribe...oh, wait. Thats something else....
