Great value for the money. A little complicated to use. Seems extremely well made. Very light.

I have been using it for a few weeks now and I get good signal reports from other ham operators. I hit a repeater 30 miles away with it after I installed a dual band antenna on my truck. I can get 15 miles out with just the rubber antenna it comes with. Its also built well. It has metal on the inside of the battery compartment instead of plastic like most electronics nowadays. Its heavy. Im not afraid to break it, and it is water resistant. You get a lot for the little extra money you pay instead of getting a cheap Chinese version. Top notch!

El único problema es que al usar el radio para llamar dice error pero se le ingresa un código y queda abierto para utilizar deberían enviarlo sin ese problema por lo demás buen producto se ve robusto y de buena calidad

I expected more from a name brand company than a slightly worse Baofeng UV-5R. Dont waste your money with this radio. It is garbage. ::edit:: Okay, here is why I call it garbage. I own a Baofeng UV-5R and it has moderately good reception, but poor output. 5 watts just isnt enough. I have had it for 3 months. I tested the Yaesu FT-65R the exact same way as I did the UV-5R. Put on the stock antenna ran some tests on known good repeaters, and nothing. No one could hear my screams. I moved outside to the same spot my UV-5R gets out and nada. Switched antennas, to the NA-771 still nothing. I know there are at least 5 hams within a 2 mile radius and none of them could hear me. Keyed up the Baofeng, got a verbal confirmation of weak scratchy output Just like always. Switched back to the Yaesu and nothing. Over the coarse of 5 days owning the radio, I noticed that my receiving function slowly deteriorated to nothing but static. That right there is why I called it garbage.

This radio rocks. Reception is fantastic compared to other bands and especially a baofeng. Charge time is super fast, and battery lasts all day. Definitely worth the money.

So I bought this radio and it feels good, looks good, it is easy to use. It came with an awesome belt clip....... but no screws to attach it. None in the box, none in any of the wrappers, or in the back of the radio. I am still happy with the radio but a lack of quality control is going to cost this guy a star.
