Brick is the right name, as soon as plugged in it goes into power save mode or that’s what tech support calls it. However it doesn’t leave power save mode and no reset capability. Had to order a replacement and good luck doing a replacement because they only allow drop off at a UPS drop off or whole foods UPS drop off, which I have none near me so with gas prices still high they will force you to locate a UPS drop off to get your replacement of the replacement or get your refund. Do not buy.

Second time I bought one, first one last about a year then died from a lightning strike hitting my house.

I was worried about noise since some other reviews mentioned it being loud, but I can’t hear it at all. It’s a great replacement for the original and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
