Best nip toy on the market. Lasts for years. This is the Acapulco gold of nip. I won’t buy anything else. I’m surprised my cat doesn’t go on here and order these himself to satisfy his nip addiction.

This is the best cat toy I have purchased. My cat is absolutely addicted to these. I am happy I can buy them in bulk, as he destroys them in about 3 days. I have given these to friends and family and no other cat seems to treat them quite the way mine does... He will play with them for hours, then finally hug them and begin to chew them open. Once hes gotten an end of the banana open, he starts to lick all the catnip out. This is usually where I throw it away and get another one from the freezer (as other reviewers have noted, this both contains the catnip smell and keeps the catnip fresh). If I wait too long, I come home to a bunch of empty yellow fabric and my darling Nigel rolling around blissfully in a pile of catnip. He has other toys that he plays with and no other destructive behaviors, he just... loves tearing open these bananas. I have purchased other catnip toys from this brand (the rainbows, the lemon, the apple and a pumpkin) which have all eventually met the same death as the bananas, but he doesnt carry them around the house and hug them the way he does the bananas. If it keeps my fat little former stray happy, I will buy him all the bananas he wants.

i purchased this here because local pet store that carried this item was sold to someone else and now new oners that have bought the store dont carry this kind of catnip and this is the only kind that my cat likes. i ggave one to my sister becasue at christmas time i brought over some loose catnip of this yeow brand and the cat really liked it so when i found them here at amazon i ordered the 3 pack of them and i split price with my sister so she kept 2 for her cat and i kept the other one for my cat. my sister said that she has tried other brands of catnip too and this is the only her cat likes too. so if you want to get some really good catnip i would recomend giving this brand a try if you look too they also sell it losely and in other toys too.

Several years ago I bought a little Yeowww! pillow for my kittens in an airport. They had never shown any interest in catnip toys in the past, but they loved the pillow to death in a matter of days. All that remained was the seams. From there I got them the Yeowwww! fruit basket, which contained a banana. They went nuts over all three pieces of fruit, and would love on them often. Even when they were years old, they would still curl up with them, play, then sit and lick the fruit. Over time the banana and lemon turned black from excessive use. We replaced them. The catnip seems to remain potent for years, but we have found they need new ones just because we hate to see them licking something that gets so dirty over time. The bananas dont hold up as well as the lemon and apple. The cats rejected the Yeowww! cigar - and it looks like a turd on the floor anyway, so we dont really blame them. This is money well spent.

All three of my cats love this chew toy. They have not shown interest in other catnip chews but they love this one.

Such a simple cat toy, but all 3 cats like it! They bite it, kick scratch it and sometimes even cuddle with it and nap.

We love these toys! One of the three bananas, the most voracious of our cats was able to get open, but the rest have held up well. Well definitely get more!

Cat played with it for 1 night and had a blast. He then licked it like crazy. The next day, the entire outside turned green. Literally. GREEN. I dont understand. Bought the 3 pack. Useless after the first night of play because now the catnip feels as if it has a hard outer layer inside it, like you feel it is hardened on the outside. I contacted Yeowww thinking maybe there was an explanation to it. My cat wasnt acting right, either, and Yeowww company completely ignored my complaint. I still dont know why my cat wasnt acting right for a couple days after. My one cat got his Yeowww banana, and my parents two cats got the other two of the set. All three cats played and tossed them around once and that was it. Only got one day of play. Waste of money. I shouldve just bought the cheap one to see if it would suffice. Ill give them one star for charging this much for something that cat only be used once. Why would THREE CATS in two separate homes use these only one night and never touch them again? Why would 1 of the 3 have the yellow fabric turn green the next day? Stopped by my parents and there are both bananas laying on the floor, and my mother said they dont care to play with it anymore, yet play with their other toys. I almost wonder if they spray something on the outside to make the cats go crazy when you bring in the Amazon box. All cats went nuts when they werent even out of the bag. One thing I noticed also, is one of my moms cats seemed to look dizzy and unable to focus for a few seconds, and very off balance. We wondered if he was ok, actually, because this was no catnip high. I strongly suspect something that was sprayed on it was licked off by my own cat, which may have made him feel unwell for a few days. Now he maybe has a bad feeling about it. Im just guessing. Yeowww has some explaining to do. I might just cut the green, stiff, hardened one open and put it on YouTube to see whats actually inside. Use caution.

My cats LOVE these. Of all the catnip toys we have purchased, these are the ones our cats seek out to chew on, carry around the house, and drool all over. We have one who talks and talks as she plays! On the packaging, when the package arrives, the cats know and sit on the box. Their noses know.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. Thought it was a little pricy, but it got great reviews. About the size of a medium banana and very banana yellow. Within a few days, it was fairly disgusting looking because my two cats attacked it, slobbered on it and carried it around the house non-stop. Its also large enough so my big cat can hold it to his chest and rabbit-claw the crap out of it with his back feet. The original banana was beginning to come apart and was waaay too disgusting to go into my sewing machine, so I decided to replace it. Considering how long it had lasted and the amount of abuse heaped on it by my cats, I had to rethink my initial thought that its pricey. Cheap at twice the price and the three-pack is even more cost effective. Buy them, your cats will thank you.
