Greater than one weekThese bananas used to be stuffed with catnip and our cats would go crazy for them and bite them. Now they smell different, like a catnip or peppermint spray, not like they used to be. The cats ignore them now. I believe the quality is compromised.

> 3 dayI bought these because the cat my roommates adopted was sent home with it. My cat, upon seeing it was totally enthralled by this product. He couldnt get enough. Over the course of a few weeks, it became very used (from my cat) and thus I needed to get more. I was ecstatic to find it on amazon. While the price was a bit high, it was well worth it to see his playing with this banana catnip toy. Its great exercise for him too. I placed them around the house and every know and then when I walk by, I see him on playing with this, on his back and kicking his legs. Great product and I havent had to buy more since last year. I will be purchasing some more soon though as they are getting worn out and what cat doesnt like a new catnip toy? Side Note: I have 2 cats and the other one doesnt bother with them, but hes not really into most catnip brands.

> 3 dayWe ordered three Yeowww! 100% organic catnip bananas (based on the reviews). They are absolutely phenomenal cat toys! Our cats lick them, bunny kick them, and walk around with them in their mouths constantly. (The toys are perpetually damp.) Our plumpest cat even sleeps on one to hide them from her slimmer siblings. Even our grumpy mama cat goes into catnip nirvana with her banana. The catnip in the bananas still seems to be fresh, but I found twisting the bananas (or letting them sit in a container of catnip for a few minutes) helps them be even more appealing to our family of rescue kittens. I also like that the bananas are hefty enough that they dont end up in the wasteland of cat toys that seems to reside under all of our pieces of furniture. Delivery was swift: This is a very reliable seller. Absolutely fantastic purchase. I will be ordering more!

> 3 dayMy cats go bananas over these bananas! I always keep a few tucked away - whether to give one of my 4 cats a fresh one or to give to a friend for their kitties. Theres something magical about these bananas. Ive never had a toy - even among all catnip toys - thats been such a universal favorite. They clutch the bananas, use them as pillows to sleep on, and bite them. Sometimes, Ill hear a strange scratchy sound only to look and see that one of my cats is licking the banana - even if its clearly seen better days. Its even funnier that its a banana versus e.g., a mouse or fish. I suggest that if you have multiple cats get enough so they dont have to share or you could have kitty banana wars!

Greater than one weekI bought the pack in 2011, but they havent gotten as much use due to durability issues, hence the 4 stars. My cats love the catnip and attack the bananas with such enthusiasm that after 24 hours the side seams split and catnip gets everywhere! The first few times I tried sewing them back together, only to have the seam split in a different place. I just gave up and put them in storage. Then last week inspiration struck. I got out and old pair of tights and stuffed two of the bananas into one leg, tying both ends tightly and cutting the excess fabric off. Basically, a catnip banana sausage. Success!!! Right now I am watching the two cats alternately tear at it with the back leg gutting move, then roll onto their backs spaced out staring at the ceiling. Cat heaven!

> 3 dayWithin a few days I noticed catnip spilled over a wide area. The end of the banana was chewed off! Tried the other two with the same result. Have all the bananas in my sewing project box to figure out a stronger material. Real shame because the cat loved it. Back to the drawing board- maybe caps on the ends? Year later: Solved the problem with a long fuzzy sock- added the leaking banana to it-tied a knot in the top and a year or so later, still a favorite toy!
