> 24 hourThis unit was perfect for our recent road trip, where we were camping and otherwise carrying our own food and drink items so as to avoid too much dining out in the COVID age. It is not a small personal cooler, not is it a large cooler, but somewhere in the middle. They say it fits behind the seat of a car, but it did not fit in that position in our car. But that didnt matter to us, as we had a back seat folded down with lots of camping gear anyway. This cooler is a size that can easily meet the needs of a couple or small family for several days. And the famous Yeti efficiency will not let you down. A bag of ice kept our items cool for several days in pretty warm weather. With another brand wed have been lucky to get one day. With Yeti, you get what you pay for -- more expensive, but top performance.

> 24 hourDamn this thing is heavy! Even more so when filled. I pre-chilled chest before setting out on trip, then used new ice for packing food. That’s the way to do it, folks. If you use same pre-chilling ice to pack food, chest will not stay as cold for as long as stated. When packed ice melted, it filled cooler with some ice water, which helped retain chilling of contents. So avoid draining it off. It is deep, and that may bode well for wine bottles, but hard to get at other things. I partitioned cooler into two sections using flexible plastic chopping board cut to size, which helps find things. End result—Pro: chill factor. Con: it’s weight. I am too old to lug this small beast around and quite frankly, strained my back while lifting this when full. Going to try Igloo.

> 24 hourI didn’t want to spend money on a cooler this expensive and turns out it was was the best cooler I could buy for my needs , I’m a journeyman mechanic and well I’m kept dry/thirsty because I need to supply myself my goods right… anyways with a tray for food, yeti ice block, and some ice plus drinks I’m set ! Plus it fits in my sedan perfectly!

> 24 hourI bought it for my wife’s as a gift, she thought it was over the top spending that much on a cooler until she left it in the car for three days when it was 110° outside, and she was very surprised when she opened it it only had about an inch of water in the bottom of the ice was still there .

> 24 hourI am a huge fan of Yeti products and think they are worth the high prices. This new Roadie 24 is a great cooler and exactly what you would expect from Yeti. It fits a case of 24 cans with a 2 to 1 can to ice ratio perfectly. The new latch system is an improvement from prior models. My only complaints: There are no dedicated tie down points and the are no loops for a padlock. Also this cooler will not fit behind a standard size vehicle seat.

> 24 hourWould be perfect if it had a drain plug.

> 24 hourWould have given 5 stars if lid had not warped and now we have a sunken “dip” in lid that you cannot sit a drink on or it will fall and spill. Other than that flaw, it has been inside camper entire time and the ice stays frozen for days. We love the Yeti brand, just wish lid was flat!

> 24 hourI work in construction and bought this to replace my playmate cooler. Day one: filled with ice and covered up water bottles. Temps low 80s. Day two: low 90s and cooler was in my truck all day so got very hot. Plenty of ice left, drained a couple of inches of water out. Water bottles still ice cold. Day three, put lunch in along with more cold drinks. Cooler stayed on my truck seat all day in about 90 degree temps. Still plenty of ice left and items still cold. Day four temps in the 80s and again cooler sat in my front seat in high temperatures. Drinks still cold. I did drain off another couple inches of water and topped off the ice.

> 24 hourThe only suggestion to this roadie would be wheels. It does well behind the seat of the truck…haven’t tried it in my car yet.

> 24 hourKeeps everything super cold, but it’s heavy to start. Should have wheels.
