YETI Tundra 65 Cooler

I debated pretty hard about spending this much on a cooler but after assessing the spending Ive done on coolers over the years, I decided to take the plunge. A large cooler at wal mart can cost near $100. I might as well have a nice one that is going to last a long time! Love the features like the carrying handles, the slide inhibiting rubber stoppers on the corners and the basket for inside. We use it to store beer throughout the week. Keep in a cool spot and youve got ice for DAYS!

This is not an ice chest to carry anywhere. If someone complains about its filled weight, they dont know what theyve bought. This is a stationary chest that will act like a refrigerator for up to 9 days IF...you load it 2/3 full of block ice, after precooling it for a day with ALOT of ice, dont constantly open and close it. Put only cold drinks and foods in it. I have 2 Yeti, and other roto-molded ice chests. The gaskets and fit of the Yetis are far superior to the knockoffs. You get what you pay for.

These coolers are junk. I got one as a gift and Ive only used it a few times and the cooler wall is separating. Its never been dropped or even handled a little rough, just sits in the truck a few times. Yeti told me basically tough luck and I must have been abusing it. People are buying a Chinese name in the yeti. I have two orca coolers and I love them, very tough and keeps ice forever. I did break a handle once when it fell down a cliff, but orca replaced the cooler. Lifetime warranty and its made in the USA! Why people even think about buying a yeti is beyond me. If you dont care for the orca, check out the pelican, my buddy has one and its a great cooler also.

I have no clue what the other reviewer is talking about - this is a one piece, roto-molded bear-proof cooler made from the same material as competition quality kayaks. Yeti has patented their own technology - pressure-injected insulation uses TWICE the amount as regular coolers. Full body seal and interlock system ensure your items stay COLD! My friend has one of these - if you throw down some foil, pack it with dry ice and frozen ice water, and allow the cooler to get cold overnight BEFORE you pack it weve found you can keep food frosty for 7-10 days. Try THAT in a Coleman brand stainless steel or cheap-o Wal Mart clearance cooler. I would recommend this for hunters, fisherman, avid car campers & hikers, survivalists and preppers. You can throw it on the back of your ATV or tow it from a bicycle - at 27 lbs. backpackers should look elsewhere.

The Navy cooler exterior got so hot the top of the cooler bowed out into a concave shape and cooler was not able to seal properly

I purchased this for my husband for Fathers Day and he LOVES it! It literally kept drinks cold for days! I wish we would have purchased this long ago, rather than spending money on other coolers!

Theres nothing like a Yeti brand anything. This cooler keeps our ice longer and food colder than anything weve ever owned. Worth the extra money you spend for quality!

I HAVE THIS COOLER INSIDE THE HOUSE MY HOUSE AT 72o F AND I LOADED THIS COOLER WITH 30 LBS OF ICE AND NO DRINKS, HOW LONG IS THE ICE SUPPOSE TO LAST ? ONLY 24 HRS !!! DO THEY HAVE DIFFERENT MANUFACTURING ? I WOULD LIKE SPEAK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS 2 COOLERS THAT COST ME $700 PLUS TAX

The quality is incredible. The cooler is also beautiful to look at. This is a lifetime cooler.
