Greater than one weekThe threads on this are 3/4 and what you really need is 5/8 so they end up leaking the hot exhaust air. You will want to find ones that are the right thread pitch.

> 3 dayThis hose fit perfectly. Make sure you get the right diameter size hose!!! This one is 5.9 inch diameter, NOT 5 inch. It is much longer than the OEM exhaust hose. It allowed me to take the AC off of a box and place it on the floor where it belongs. There is still room to spare in the length. I did NOT measure the length, so take this as a GUESS only. I think it is 18 to 20 inches longer? The hose seems fine in terms of quality. Time will tell? This solved my problem. I wish LG would use this same length of hose from the factory. What would it cost? A few pennies? I spent over $400 for the unit. Seems kinda silly, except to the bean counters.
