> 3 dayIve asked this question of the manufacturer and on this Amazon page and am awaiting an answer. If this isnt possible I may give it 3 stars. The pros: - Extremely simple to set up (I used wired ethernet connection to my router) - Door sensors can be up to 18mm apart and still be considered closed, so my weird door frames were no issue. - App is simple - Alexa and IFTTT integration available and seamless (though not very good for my purpose) Cons: - Only 1 sensor can trigger one or multiple devices. Multiple sensors cannot trigger the same device with a single command. I want ANY door that opens to trigger the siren device, and I want to be able to enable/disable that with 1 click or 1 Alexa voice command. This is not possible as far as I can tell. I would have to have separate automations for each sensor to trigger the alarm if opened. The only saving grace here is that you can set up specific hours that the automation is active. So Ive created a separate automation for each sensor that is only active at night, since I presumably wouldnt open doors in the middle of the night. If I so happen to open a door during these hours, I have a special command for Alexa to stop the siren. Without Alexa, I would need to find my phone, open the app, navigate to the siren, and press off. - User guide is very limited (19 very short pages) - Siren went off randomly with no record of the event in the first 30 minutes of using it. Not sure if this is going to be an ongoing issue (though this is not a specific problem for the door sensor in particular).

> 3 dayVery easy to install. The kids never close doors. Now, I get a text if the door is left open too long!

> 3 dayProduct itself is great but not getting timely push notifications when door is opened or closed. Only received them when clicking on the application itself. Have sent an email to the company requesting assistance but so far no response. I also have the SmartThings Hub and inotifications are instant and problem-free. I just received an email from the company and they said that there is a bug in the app and theyll be releasing a new one within 7 days Ill keep you posted as to the progress and update my rating as necessary App released this morning and now push notifications coming in just fine. They need to work on their English translations for the alert, but thats a minor issue. I hope this company succeeds they have awesome products!

05-06-2025I buy this with no idea what to expect. It was very simple to install. I am not a tech guy by no means and I love it. Our kids can open the garage door with an app from their phones. We are very glad that we bought it. I am going to buy some for my mother and other family members.

02-06-2025I was cautious to order because there were not many reviews, but I am SO glad that I did. I cannot recommend the yolink products highly enough. They are incredibly easy to setup, and work flawlessly. Setup: The only issue I had during setup was the wifi did not want to connect. I connected the hub via ethernet to the router and it connected without issue. Once it was connected, I simply disconnected from the ethernet and moved it to the location I wanted the hub and it stayed connected to the wifi. Range: They arent kidding about the range on these products! Our chicken coop is over 400ft from our house, across hills/trees/brush and I have had zero issues with connection. Customer Service: I emailed customer service with a question and received an answer within the same day. Very quick, polite, and helpful. IFTTT Integration is very easy to use and works well, though I have found that I prefer the in-app automation since it there is no delay. I am using the yolink wifi plug to turn on/off a heat lamp for new chicks in the brooder based on an alert from the yolink temp/humidity sensor. If the temp gets too high, the plug turns the lamp off - if the temp gets too low, the plug turns the lamp on. Its working very well. I have had zero issues with the app and have found that it has all the functionality that I need.

> 3 dayBest contact open/closed sensor on the market. New strong signal to hub, utilizes two alkaline AAA battery batteries, runtime of batteries is 2 years,. I have six in service and have not had a dropped signal from any sensor. Also can utilize multiple programming possibilities and notifications.

Greater than one weekBought one for each door and one for each window. Doors work fine. Cant even install in windows at all. Have normal vertical sash windows. Each sash takes one sensor rather than one for both (thats 2x sensors). There are so many window configurations in my home (vertical hinged, horizontal hinged all with indoor screens). Each type needs custom made spacers for the magnets to be installed. Im making them all but am very surprised that for windows theres not a huge variety of spacers for the magnets, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4. Sad story for what is great service, tech support. Also alerts are not good. Someone breaks into your home and you get the same phone alert/notification that you get for email, ebay, amazon. Got YoLink leak sensors and siren alarms too. When someone breaks in and they alarm you dont know weather to grab your gun or your plumbers wrench. Not well thought out.
