> 24 hourWow these are cheap! They cut metal. If you need the best, these aint them. If you just want some cheap cutoff wheels, this may be them. I had a deck. It was made of, what was sold to me as, treated wood. With in five years it was unsafe to walk on. In seven years it would crumble in your hand. Luckily, the 4x4 post, joist and stringers were made out of much better treated wood purchased from another vender. So I now have a deck with no decking on the joist, but I do have all those screws that held the crumbled old decking. I need them gone. I could try to unscrew all of them, but I thought Id just cut them off flush. And I did. About a thousand times. It took about 3-4 seconds per to cut them off. So about three or four hours, with wheel changes and moving from screw to screw, joist to joist and rubbing my aching back. They cut the screws well enough and I have no complaint on how well and long they cut. For the price theyre not bad. Would I have saved some time if Id bought Dewalt? Would it have cost way more? With out doubt. I have more time than money. Im willing to work more if it can reasonably save money. And thats what these do, save you money at the cost of some time and performance. Im OK with that, you may not be. They come in a closing case that reminds me of those old CD 50 pack spindles. I wonder how theyd play in my old Sony?

> 24 hourAs a trial run, I sliced off a piece of 2”x 2” x 3/16” angle iron, and then a ¾” steel rod. The cutting disc easily handled the task, and didn’t appear worse for wear. No, theyre not high end, but worth what you pay for them.

> 24 hourThese are exactly what you pay for. If you need general cut off wheels that burn up fast these are them. They are cheap and work with alot of thinner materials.

> 24 hourFirst, the plastic container holding these will totally be reused. Its a nice step up from them being in a box on the way here, yet just as secure. The discs arrived in two shrink wrapped bundles, in the aforementioned plastic container with a screw on lid, tucked into a box. Every part of this packaging will be reused here. The discs are thinner than Im used to from the local big box stores. While there was concern that it would lead to easier breakage and a shorter shelf life - it will, because physics - they hold up decently for how thin they are. On the positive side, they cut faster metal than the typical discs I get because theyre thinner. They will be used in the shop as would any consumable, and are as expected for the type.

> 24 hourMy husband was ecstatic when I got these cut off wheels for him. They fit his angle grinder perfectly. He uses cut off wheels a lot for metal and said these work great. They are thin and durable. And you can’t beat the price for as many as you get. Plus they have a nice storage container to keep them in almost like the old cd disk containers lol

> 24 hourFit on my skil grinder Cut a large hole in the bottom of an old bathtub that I plan on using as a planter/garden bed, it used up a little more then 1/3 of the wheel, its about what I would expect from cutting wheels I was worried about size, it is the same exact size as the 4 1/2 warrior brand cut off wheels I have from harbor freight I think they are a good option for cutting wheels

> 24 hourExcellent thin cutoff wheels. Keep in mind that these are THIN. As a result, you cant manhandle these like thicker wheels. These require a firm, stable hand, or otherwise youll end up with a ragged chipped edge real quick. I used these to cut sheet metal, a range of nails and screws all of the way up to some 1/2 rebar. While thinner wheels do cut easier, since there is less friction due to the smaller contact area, that also makes them less durable. These are best suited for more detailed cuts, and on thinner metals like sheet metal, nails and screws and softer metals like aluminum. Still, I did make it through the rebar, but to be honest, I failed the first time while freehanding the rebar. After securing the rebar in a vise, I was able with a steady hand, cut through all of the way with no issues. With that said, I still think these are best for lighter duty, and not as an all around cutoff wheel. Still given the low price of about .36 cents each, versus more than double from HF for a thicker wheel, they are a good low cost alternative for MOST of the times a cutoff wheel is called for.

> 24 hourThese are not equivalent to the more expensive brands, but they are great for odd, imprecise jobs. The density is much lower than similar discs, but they still cut well enough.
