I use this lamp for my almost 5 week old Quaker parrot. Works very well to keep her warm.

Gets hot fast but it doesn’t put off any light so you might burn yourself once before you realize it’s on.

I use ceramic heat lamps for my hedgehog, especially during the winter months, to make sure he doesnt hibernate. This does the job well and the included thermostat ensures the temperature is just right.

Worked exactly as advertised from early December until early May. One day it just didnt get hot and never worked again. A new warming light bulb confirmed it is not the unit that it plugs in to that broke. Unless you need it for less than 5 months, be prepared to replace it a couple of times a year.

This lamp works perfect and is still going strong! Turtle is pleased as well as he is always laying under it at night.

I bought this to regulate the temperature in my hedgehog cage. This lamp is perfect for them since they are nocturnal, I can keep the lamp on all day without any light affecting their sleep cycle. I really enjoy that this came with a thermometer to help me track the temperature throughout the day so i know when to turn the lamp on or off.

Suction cups dont work very well. Bulb and thermometer work fine

Awesome product.. I noticed the sulcata tortoise wasnt sleeping inside its house because of the cold weather from it being winter time and the 60 watt bulb was barely doing its job ... this bulb warms up a good area now the tortoise is sleeping back inside of its home and its heating up its patch of sand in front of the house and the house roof itself

It’s ok, but I don’t love it. It doesn’t give off much heat and there’s no way to adjust that.

60 watt is perfect for my geckos 12X12X18. She could not be more happy.
