This silcone heat resistant mat is so awesome. I have been needing one for so long because I was constantly burning my bathroom counter top. Now with this mat, I dont have to worry about it. I have had my flat iron super hot and at the highest temperature that it would go, and the mat held up great with it. My flat iron has never burned through it or melted it in anyway. Also, this mat is way better than any regular heat resistant mat because it also has the cool feature of doubling as a pouch. Which helps keep my flat iron clean and dust-free. I also love how convenient it is. When I am done using my flat iron, I can just throw it inside the pouch part, hang it up, and go. I dont have to worry about burning anything. I also dont have to leave it out on the counter anymore to cool down where its possible that my daughter could easily go grab it and burn herself. Safety is very important to us moms. So I definitely recommend this silcone mat / pouch to any moms that have young ones and also use hot hair styling tools.

I tested this with my curling wand as I did my hair sitting on my bed. I didnt place the wand inside, but on top of the silicon mat and that was on top of my mattress. It did let off a slight burnt rubber smell on my first use of it, but the mat didnt burn or melt in any way. Im hoping its just one of those smells that goes away after the initial first few uses. I do like that it has the pocket inside and a hook to hang it from somewhere if you want to. Im knocking off a star because I think it could have done a better job of preventing heat from transferring through the mat to my bed. My sheets and mattress were still significantly hot underneath the mat. Not so hot that Id worry they could catch on fire, but hot enough that I felt was too much and that the mat should have been able to prevent. Other than that, I think its a good mat to protect your surroundings from most of the heat when setting down your hot tools.

This mat/pouch can take heat up to 460F degrees so it is perfect for your curling iron, flat iron, etc. I like that it is made from food grade silicone. I have a smaller curling iron that it stores with no issues. I can hang it up and keep everything out of the way. This is a nice travel size, and would also make a great gift or stocking stuffer.

If youre working with hot styling tools, this is a must have. It is exactly what I needed! I have this 2 curling iron that I use often and didnt have a pouch to store it in. Prior to getting this pouch I would store it back in its original packaging but its a bit of a nuisance. Not only did my 2 curling iron fit, but its also extra room to store an additional tool like a 1 flat iron. It is convenient to have the hanging loop feature to be able to use this as a protective heat mat to rest my curling iron on. The mat measures 11L X 5.5W. Would love it in fun, bright colors but the grey is also nice and neutral.

I love this for travel. I have a heat mat at home that I love but don’t pack up to travel with. So when I needed a new heat tool travel case I saw this and was intrigued. This works great as a travel case then I like having somewhere to place my hot tools on a counter at a hotel or Air B&B. Don’t have to worry about damaging anyone’s counters. It fits my straightener and curling iron for travel

I never knew how much I needed. I always have a hot curling iron and worry my kids will get burnt by it when Im done. Now I can put it in this sleeve when Im done and put it out of reach of my kids and still safe to put away.
