Great to carry around my straightener, and leave on it so i dont damage my counter space with the heat. It does get a bit hot once you remove it, but it cools down in a few minutes - just be careful with handling it.

This silcone heat resistant mat is so awesome. I have been needing one for so long because I was constantly burning my bathroom counter top. Now with this mat, I dont have to worry about it. I have had my flat iron super hot and at the highest temperature that it would go, and the mat held up great with it. My flat iron has never burned through it or melted it in anyway. Also, this mat is way better than any regular heat resistant mat because it also has the cool feature of doubling as a pouch. Which helps keep my flat iron clean and dust-free. I also love how convenient it is. When I am done using my flat iron, I can just throw it inside the pouch part, hang it up, and go. I dont have to worry about burning anything. I also dont have to leave it out on the counter anymore to cool down where its possible that my daughter could easily go grab it and burn herself. Safety is very important to us moms. So I definitely recommend this silcone mat / pouch to any moms that have young ones and also use hot hair styling tools.

Whenever I use my hot hair styling tools I will lay it on a towel, to protect my counter top from burns . This silicone holder easily replaces that towel. You can also store your hot tools with this mat/pouch. This is great for travel or if you want to hang it on any hook. It fits majority of curling irons and flat irons. Highly functional and great design.

Dual function silicone mat and pouch! Functions as intended. This would be great after last minute final touch up and final pack up before heading out of town! I usually wrap my curling iron with a big towel to absorb the heat, but this would make a much better option. The pouch fit the hot iron portion of my curling iron but not the entire wand. The pouch includes a clasp so the iron won’t slip out. A longer and thinner pouch would have fit my curling iron better.

Everything is exactly as advertised, except that this holder is much bigger than I thought it was. The dimensions are 11¼ x 5½. I wanted a very small holder to hold my very small flat iron while traveling. Ill be returning it.

Bought it to hold a new blow dryer hair curling brush...it fits but its a tight squeeze. Now I just use it to protect the counter from hot hair utensils. Very sturdy, nice product.
