You can sit your flat iron on top of it or also inside of it. Also love the loop so I can hang it if I want.

> 3 dayLove it. I have a hook on the side of my bathroom cabinet and like that I could hang this whole thing off the hook until I was ready to straighten my hair, then put it away hot. Even after having a hot iron on it, the silicone doesnt get warm to the touch.

I wanted a nice, convenient travel case for my hair curling iron and I wanted a convenient way to protect any surfaces I would be using while my iron was hot. I found both in this one product. My curling iron fits perfectly inside, there is a loop for hanging it on a wall when not in use, and I just take out the iron , turn it on, and place it on the travel case to protect any surfaces while Im using it.. It is just about perfect AND the price is right.

> 3 dayWe moved into an RV and we have very limited counter space, I cant just leave my flat iron on the counter to cool (itll burn the counter and Im not the only one using it). I had just enough wall space to get a comand hook to hang this from and it was perfect. I use it to lay my flatiron on while Im using it, then it goes right in the bag hot to hang on the hook. Also didnt take nearly as long to deliver as it said it would. Overall very happy.
