Was initially concerned when I read reviews that the velvet flakes off -- especially as I live in southern New Mexico where it is dry dry. But never any problem with the first box of these hangers and have now ordered a second box in purple (segregating my summer and winter clothes by using two different colors). Absolutely recommend!

> 24 hourI hate hangers that break. These seem to stand up to my kids ripping the clothes off, will the hanger is attached to the rod. I haven’t found any busted hangers in the kids closets for a while. I think that’s a good test. I’m sure eventually they will start to break ( I have boys ) but so far so good. I will buy these again
