This is the first time I have used velvet hangers. These are a low loft and slim. Like the uniform look in my closet. Also the hanger part twists so you can hang on the door to see a full length view.

My wife ordered these for a family who loves shades of purple and is moving into a new home. She wanted to keep her home fairly neutral overall and these hangers added the perfect touch of color to her closet without being overwhelmingly purple. Family member lived them! The color was as depicted and the hangers are a good quality and good value.

Let me say - I love these hangers. They really do make your closet look so much better than plastic hangers. However, it is a battle to get your shirts on them, which really stinks when trying to convince your spouse to switch over from slippery plastic hangers. For now we use them in our RV to save space and they do make a difference. Highly recommend if you can get over the velvet-resistance.

These hangers don’t slip at all. It can be a bit of a pain to get cotton like fabrics on them and you have to be careful you don’t put them in a weird stretchy position because that’s how they will stay!
