> 24 hourReviewers recommended it over the exoterra, wish I wouldnt have listened as it slides around on top. the recommended bulb is expensive and quite dim.

> 24 hourGood for reptiles that need low levels of UVB like crested geckos. Fits perfectly on my 12x12x18 ExoTerra and 12x12x18 Zilla enclosures. But, I wouldnt buy this for desert species that need higher UVB levels to prevent metabolic bone disease(bearded dragons, leopard gecko) A fluorescent tube light would work better for them.

> 24 hourlooks good, the reflective sleeve throws off more heat than the standard aluminium heat lamp. very good value also.

Me too
> 24 hourThis works great on top of our turtle tank, so good I bought 3 of them. They are slimier and better looking in my opinion than the Exo Terra. Also I like these better than Exo as the cord is in the back along with the switch. The Exo the cord and switch are on the side. They also work great and have had no problems. I have one with a red light, one with a daylight bulb and one with a compact UVB bulb. Highly Recommended!

> 24 hourGreat little hood for the 12x12x18. I like that you can put a bulb in up to 60 watts. Unable to go past 25 watts in my exoterra top

> 24 hourThis hood lamp works great for compact UVB lights, the metal reflector reflects the light great, and keeps the light bright!

> 24 hourNeeded second hood to go on my vivarium so I could add night light. Two will fit on one tank. Matches the one I have. What is nice about it is it takes up to a 60 watt bulb. The other brand only takes up to a 15 watt bulb. I feel it and it doesnt get overheated. So depends what your needs are.
