Negative: This umbrella comes in plastic packaging that smells like fish when you first open it. Just air it out for a few days before use and you are good to go. Positive: The umbrella is compact yet sturdy and the design of the solar planets is really cool.

This umbrella is large enough to keep you dry in the rain, yet folds down really small. This is great for carrying in a purse or backpack. The design is interesting and fun- having the beach pattern on the inside with a black exterior is the reverse of what is usually on an umbrella. My 12 year old daughter needed an umbrella to put in her school backpack. She and her friends think it’s awesome. The exterior material is thick and feels durable. The spokes are a little tight to get folded back in. I think with more use they will be easier to fold down all the way.

These seem to be good quality. The one I used was easy to open and close, and I like how both umbrellas are a neutral black on the outside, but have an interesting design that I can view when I look up inside the umbrella, sort of like an upside down umbrella print. I keep multiple umbrellas in my car just in case it rains on the way to and from my car, when I’m at work taking my breaks. The only thing I don’t like about them is that when closed, the umbrella fabric doesn’t lay down as well as other umbrellas. It’s almost too thick to fit in my car door handle, which is where I store umbrellas. I threw out the umbrella covers because it’s too much trouble to bother with them, especially with how thick the fabric is. But if you’re a patient person, you may opt to keep them. I would definitely recommend these based on the quality and interesting prints without being too “cute.”

I received the ZUOYOUS Umbrella to review. It is a great size as can be seen in the photo I have attached. It is large enough it covers our 9 YO and their backpack and keeps them dry without any issue. Folding in, out, and storing is a breeze with the include storage cover. Obviously...let it dry before putting it away! It is however a bit flimsy. It is rather windy where we live and it does seem like it wants to turn inside out. It hasnt yet, but it has come close. Overall this umbrella is better than the ones you find at the checkout line in the grocery store!!

…but the umbrellas are great.

This color is beautiful, the reflective strip does not take away from its appearance. Easy to use and grip. Lightweight and compact, will be keeping this in the car for easy access.

I ordered this travel umbrella from Zuoyouz (model Z_B007BK002_US) in the color abstraction. I like the pattern a lot, it’s a fun surprise when I open it. It opens with a button that you don’t have to push that hard, so a kid could do it. It looks well make there’s a lot more support and connectors than other umbrellas I have had that have died from winds. The outer fabric is a vinyl that kept the water off when I used it. When closed it measures about 11.5 inches (29 cm) and is light. When opened the umbrella has a diameter of 43 inches and covers about 37 inches, big enough for one person. The umbrella came in a velvet drawstring bag that was a bit hard to put back in after using it. I think all umbrella makers should just make bigger bags preferably of absorbing material. This umbrella came in a plastic bag and is made in China.

The perfect size to fit in my bag. Even though a small it has great coverage. The only thing is the rain trips in from the slits but not too bad overall it’s a good umbrella. It doesn’t seem too sturdy but it’s a decent umbrella. The fabric is awesome.
