> 3 dayAfter using other packages I often have had a liquid on trash bin. I’m using these bags about 2 weeks and so far everything is fine. I like it.

> 3 dayI’ve used about 3 of these bags so far and I’m pleased. The previous brand of compostable bag I used would form condensation between the bag and can after just a day or so. These bags have stayed dry and work well with the SimpleHuman can I’m using for compost (uses size V bags).

> 3 dayThese are great for the sustainability our city has started. Like that they are compostable. Egg shells will occasionally make a hole so I try to crush those well. Will continue to purchase because the are environmentally friendly.

> 3 dayI was reluctant to try another brand of compostable trash bag. The ones Ive tried come off the roll with a tear down the side, decompose in the bin so my garbage falls out of the bottom when I pull the bag from the bin and/or are too small to fit over the top, so they tear when trying to put them on. These bags really hold up! Although they are a bit too narrow to fit over the top of my trash bin, I give them a gentle pull in 2-3 sections of the top and they stretch to fit. If I pull too hard and do make a hole in the bag I can still use it without the hole getting any bigger once its installed. I just finished my first full roll. There have been no torn bags and no trash falling out the bottom of a soggy bag. I will definitely buy these again.

> 3 dayThese make my daily composting work effortless. They fit perfectly in my kitchen compost box I keep near my sink. I’ve never had one rip or fall apart during use.

> 3 dayReally great esp for a compostable bag. Used the fill box of 3 rolls and now ordering more. Works better than one we tried that was plastic, but made to break down over time. Weve had it get a hole if we put something sharp in, but the holes dont enlarge easily, so weve never had one fail. We leave room at the top so we can tie it closed easily. We live in a city and havent seen our garbage in the alley or the bottom or our can, either. They are pretty rough with the bags. Only draw back is smell. They dont hold it in as well as plastic. For the kitchen, we fill up the can over several days, and the can has a top, so no problem with smell for that use. We tried them in a diaper pail - that wasnt so great. If we took it outside to change it, it may be OK, but I cant see making the garbage collectors deal with that, esp in the summer.

> 3 dayI liked the sturdiness of the product, the weight of trash that it manages is terrific. Over all, well worth the price. Will be ordering more

22-11-2024Our city recently enacted a law that all discarded compostable food items be put into the same bins as our yard waste. I was saving used frozen vegetable bags and collecting the food items throughout the week, and putting them in the freezer until trash day. No way I was going to put the food directly into the bin and let it sit outside throughout the week! This would create a smelly container that needed to be cleaned often, and that would for sure attract critters searching for food. One problem with above is that the used vegetable bags are plastic and NOT compostable/recyclable, so using small compostable bags like this and adding items throughout the week while keeping it in the freezer, then throwing the entire bag in the bin on pick up day was an ideal solution. I really like the 1 gallon size. They do rip easier than plastic but thats to be expected. It doesnt take much effort to handle in a way that they dont tear, but be aware if anything with sharper edges is put in or if you push something in with some force it may tear. With this brand, you can convert the cardboard box they come in into a dispenser (and even hang it if you want). This is a nice feature that I use, but took at bit to follow the instructions to figure it out. Once you do I think youll like using this feature. The price seemed reasonable and this pack should last me about 4 months at one per week (125 total).

> 3 dayUsing plastic kitchen bin liners was driving me crazy. I really like the bags. The fit my kitchen 30 gallon perfectly. No breakage so far. I’ve been using about 3 months now and I already switched to auto renew because I don’t want to run out and then have to wUse plastic again while waiting for reorder. No smell. No fake scent. They’re thick enough and fit right over the lip of my can. Great product.
