> 3 dayIt really works! I have used charcoal before to remove odors in cabinets and car. I was excited to find these. I don’t know how long they will last. I am a nurse a my feet sweat a lot. Which causes odor over time. I put these in my shoes over night and no more odor. Will buy again

> 3 dayI never had this style of odor eaters before. They do not have any scent at all, and kind-of take on the scent of what they are in over time. I use them for my shoes and slippers. Be sure to follow the directions. They say that you need to put them in the sun for 8-10 hours to activate them, then do so again every month. I followed the directions and they work well. They recommend discarding after 2 years. They say to cut it open and pour the bamboo charcoal into the flower bed and use as (mulch/fertilizer?), so I like that they are still used for another purpose at the end of its life cycle. I would buy them again.

Greater than one weekMy daughter left her soccer cleats in her bag over a hot weekend!!! The smell was horrendous. After washing and washing nothing helped. Found these and they are amazing. Took the smell out with in 24 hrs. Note. You will need to set these in the sun to activate. They are a game changer. Also, love once these have lost its effectiveness. You can open them up and add them to your soil ( charcoal). Double win.

Greater than one weekI was a little skeptical when I bought this, but I needed something for my teenage sons shoes (Oh! the smell!). These worked wonders. He slides these in his shoes when he gets home and they take care of all the smells. It is like having clean shoes every day. I like that the pack comes with several of these, as one set will go in his soccer cleats when that starts up again. Well worth the price.
