Ive worked out my own system to help prevent funk in my boxing gloves - I always keep a pair of these in the gloves when not in use. I use hand socks/wraps with the gloves, and I always hang my gloves open to dry after a session. This has worked well! I appreciate that these have no odor - Im pretty sensitive to smells and cant handle perfumes/scents.

I followed the instructions and activated the charcoal in sunlight. I put these all over my closet, and the next day they had eliminated the odor from my shoes. I placed them inside the worst offenders, and I haven’t had show odor since.

I work in automotive so I’m in boots all day long, my boots smell when I get home so thought I’d try these. My boots are a couple months old so I don’t think smell has saturated them like my old boots(I’ll get to that in a second) but left them overnight, no sun or UV light, just straight out of the package. Threw em in, woke up and took them out and smelled my boots, they LITERALLY smelled like nothing lol I was surprised they worked without “activation” So this morning I threw one in each of my old work boots (almost 3 years old) and those definitely smell (haha? :,) )) I’ll check back in a couple days and see how these things work for and older pair of boots. I also put one bag under each seat in my car, not that it smells but just for.. preventative stank? Lol 9/10

It really works! I have used charcoal before to remove odors in cabinets and car. I was excited to find these. I don’t know how long they will last. I am a nurse a my feet sweat a lot. Which causes odor over time. I put these in my shoes over night and no more odor. Will buy again

Ive had great success with these charcoal deodorizer inserts. They fit well in a variety of shoes, from athletic to dress pumps. Priming them in the sunlight, as the manufacturer recommends, was as easy as placing them on a table next to a window. I keep waiting for them to be become ineffective (ever the cynic) but so far, so good.

Skeptical at first, but now Im a true believer, they work overnight, just charge them in the sun for a few hours and theyre ready to save you money on not so good sprays.

Unfortunately, I opened these after the return date had passed. I’ve used several types of products like this before and have found them great for putting in stinky shoes. When I owned the box, it smelled like rotten fish. I tried to air them out outside and put them in the sun. Nothing takes away their fishiness. I even tried them in a pair of old shoes out of curiosity. Just what I expected, now the shoes smell like feet and fish. Gross! DO NOT BUY

One of my teen sons has a foot odor that could fell an elephant. We moved into a new apartment and got a shoe rack that went into the coat closet. He put his shoes, and his sandals (the worst culprit) onto the rack and closed the door. At our last place, we kept thinking we smelled decomposition and thought a mouse had died, but friends, I am 99% sure it was my kid’s sandals. I opened that closet door and nearly retched. It was a felony assault on my olfactory senses. I bought these and they came very quickly. Just as quickly, I asked by son to put one in every one of his shoes and two in the sandals. He did and within 24 hours, the closet literally had no odor. None! Now, did it completely eliminate the odor from the sandals and shoes? I’m not sure. I’d you want to come over and stick YOUR nose in there, feel free. All I know is that I don’t smell it in the closet, so I have to assume the shoes themselves are deodorized. Wonderful, effective solution to a super stinky problem.
