I bought These Marsheepy bamboo charcoal bags for my sports gear but they smell fishy which we all know is one of the most undesirable odors to be burdened with. Someone tells you that you smell fishy is one of the most dreaded things to hear about yourself. I am wondering if they were used to remove a fishy odor then returned and resold to me? I don’t understand any other reason for it. I am afraid if I use it in my sports gear it will end up smelling fishy. I’ll probably return them.

I bought these to help get rid of the lingering funkiness that was in our deep freezer. Threw 4 of them in and w/in 24 hours it was almost all gone. By day two, completely gone. Now keep one in the fridge as well and it helps keep it smelling like nothing, which is what I want my fridge to smell like.

Working from home I wear my slippers all day now, and yeah they get smelly with or without socks, it happens. I started putting these odor eliminators in at night while I sleep and they really do work, it took a few nights. At first I could tell they were helping the smell not get stronger then after a week or so of remembering to do it every night they absorbed the stinky smell up. I am using the others in my gym sneakers, boxing gloves, walking shoes just anywhere smelly.

They work but not as well as I had hoped...

I use these for my boxing gloves and sometimes my shoes/boots (especially if theyre a little wet from rain). Im very surprised these actually work, the enhanced mesh is a great idea! Glad I got a bunch of them, whatever Ive used I rotate them to sit in the sun for a day and theyre like new the next day. Very glad I bought these.

I toss these in my boxing gloves and gym shoes after every training session. By the next day my gear is dry and oder freeThese work great to prevent oder. Happy with this purchase, would buy again.

I really wanted to like this product. I felt it did nothing for my shoes. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because shipment was quick. #Disappointed

I never had this style of odor eaters before. They do not have any scent at all, and kind-of take on the scent of what they are in over time. I use them for my shoes and slippers. Be sure to follow the directions. They say that you need to put them in the sun for 8-10 hours to activate them, then do so again every month. I followed the directions and they work well. They recommend discarding after 2 years. They say to cut it open and pour the bamboo charcoal into the flower bed and use as (mulch/fertilizer?), so I like that they are still used for another purpose at the end of its life cycle. I would buy them again.
