> 24 hourEven at ~60m with CAT6A, 10G connection drops frequently (every 30 minutes or so, and stays down for about a minute). Tested with a Ubiquiti ES-16-XG and an iMac Pro 2017. Works fine for the duration it stays connected, though.

> 24 hourOrdered this to enable a backup wan connection on my UDM Pro. Nifty packaging, easy install, flawless operation. Definitely recommended for this use.

> 24 hourThey work perfectly with SFP+ devices, making a 10Gbps connection in my Lan really fast, and I get the full 2.5Gbps Internet connection as well.

> 24 hourSomeone gave me a 10Gtek 10Gb network card with a single SFP+ port. So I got this Transceiver because it was the same brand. The card was installed in an old Windows 7 sever. This transceiver allowed me to connect the PC to a 10Gb Netgear switch. Happy with the purchase as everything worked fine at the first try

> 24 hourI purchased this transceiver for my UDM Pro and it did not work well. The uplink speed would not negotiate properly causing a limit of 1G uplink even though the negotiated speed was reported as higher (but even that was still not what it should have been). The device on the other end of the connection reported a lot of packet errors of various types and I had strange issues with the data being uploaded from the UDM. After switching out with another brand transceiver I had no issues and everything immediately worked.

> 24 hourJust make sure your compatibility is right. I use 10Gtek 10gbit modules with mikrotik routers and switches and netgear, just make sure to get the right compatibility. Works well. I have some of these well over a year with zero issues. Ive used a lot of 10Gtek cables, dacs and modules and they have been pretty solid.

> 24 hourI liked that it worked at 2.5gb in my Ubiquiti switch and on my Dell Inspirion 5675. Not much else to say. Insert this transceiver into the 10gb switch and plug in a Cat 6a cable and in my case I reconfigured both the NIC on the PC and the port on the 10gb switch to Auto Negotiate and it worked fine and since I was using only a 2.5gb NIC it worked great.
