had to add wiring from some 12v dc wall wart. Theses sockets and plugs have built in terminal clamps so that they wired up easily and you could easily change polarity on the fly.

Worked as intended for my holiday lights setup.

These are so useful. Been using them for end connectors on automotive LED light bars for emergency lighting and flood lighting. The uses are endless and using them to convert into battery power is amazing. Would totally buy and recommend highly!!!
