1/4 Inch 6x12 Aluminum Sheet 6061-T6 Aluminum Tooling Flat Sheet Plate Bar Mill Stock

Use - used as a scabbard for my boat. (It’s like the Rudder for the boat/ protects the prop from rocks) Metal held up well, minor scrapes from my adventures on the waters and the summer droughts changing water depth. Welded well and has no cracking on the weld line.

I measured the plates after I got them because I saw a few reviews with people saying they weren’t quite 6”x12”. From what I measured, they seem to be within spec. Yes there is a slight burr on each side, but that’s going to happen when you cut metal. The cuts appear to be pretty good and straight too.

The aluminum plate was of the correct size, and was flat. Protective plastic sheet was on both sides of the aluminum. No sharp edges, and it was very easy to mill a part I bought it for.

I cut my finger as I was removing it from its cardboard box . I had to take a file and go over all the edges as cuts and splinters abound. Otherwise a good product. Bruce

I used it to fabricate mounts for my eTrikes battery and controller. Perfect for my needs.
