1/4 Inch 6x12 Aluminum Sheet 6061-T6 Aluminum Tooling Flat Sheet Plate Bar Mill Stock

The width was not cut to true 6 inch dimension, closest mm. OK as I only needed 5 inches for my project. a little gummy to machine. I am not sure which version of 6160 it is.

It is a nice uniformly thick and cleanly cut piece of aluminum.

The aluminum plate was of the correct size, and was flat. Protective plastic sheet was on both sides of the aluminum. No sharp edges, and it was very easy to mill a part I bought it for.

I needed 6.35mm for my mechanical part, that 0.3mm difference is important. Most verbiage in the description and one answer in the questions all indicated 1/4 (6.35mm); one text image in a picture indicated 6mm. The width was 5.91; the length 11.91 which were both the listed tolerances. The length and width were not critical to my application (just the thickness which was 6.05mm). It is a beautiful piece of aluminum, extremely flat, and well packaged.

The Sheets were Well packaged The down side was the metal edges were rough cut and very sharp. A very slight buffering of the edges would be appreciated

I used it to fabricate mounts for my eTrikes battery and controller. Perfect for my needs.

This worked great to add very strong plates to secure my boats stanchions and cleats. Easy to cut and shape.
