I love these! Do not have a garbage disposal so, catching as much food before it goes down the drain is important. They fit flush and have a handle for use.

Great product

They definitely do the job of trapping ALL food waste but because of that they get clogged so quickly and the sink fills up and its gross. You empty most waste into the trash and a good amount gets stuck which you end up rinsing down the drain anyways. I prefer ones with slightly larger holes.

In an effort to save water and reduce waste, we put these over the top of our garbage disposal in the sink. Now I can empty the sink garbage into the garbage can rather than run it down the garbage disposal and use the extra water.

Just amazing

I own a few similar sink drain strainers but was not happy with them. I thought because the basket is larger on this one it would hold more. debris. It did, but then water would go down the drain very slowly even if there was not a lot of debris in the basket. The finest of particles clog up the tiny hole openings. The hole openings should be larger. I had to make larger holes at different spots with a hammer and nail. Now the water goes down the drain faster and still catches the particles.

It works well, and it even catches my long strain of hairs too!
