I like this MagSafe car mount. The main unit along with the included magnetic ring holds my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra quite well. And the hook mechanism adjusts to as long (deep) as you need it, extending up to around 1’’ to catch onto most any air vent opening.

Ive tried using this kind of thing with my phone in the past. It would always inevitably fall off and tumble under the seat. But this magnet is really strong. I dont think I will have that problem anymore and I can safely use my GPS at eye-level instead of in my lap.

This is by far the best phone holder weve ever had. Theres a metal ring that sticks to the back of your phone, or the case, and the magnet sticks directly to that ring. The connection is strong and the phone does not go anywhere. I though lt it would put strain on the vent, but everything seems secure and fits well. Im really impressed with this thing. Weve previously used the suction cup ones, but in Florida, those just dont always work. They frequently pop off, usually while your driving. These magnetic ones work amazingly well, and weve not had one issue with them coming off the magnet or the clip coming out of the vent. Its perfect for my spouse who spends a lot of his job in his car driving. He can see his phone easily and it stays in place for maps or whatever is in use. Only issue, you cannot put the metal ring on the inside of a phone case, the magnet is not strong enough to go through the case. If your phone has a case, the ring will have to go on the case and the back of the case must be flat for this to properly stick. I cant use this on my phone case because it has a textured back, but my spouse has an OtterBox and it is flat and the ring sticks fine to that. Something to consider.

These are nice little magnetic car mount phone holders, they go on easy, the magnet is strong and it swivels to use it at different angles. It fits on my Honda with no problems but it will not work on my husbands Ford truck. It seems his vent levers are too long. So that might be something to check before buying.

I had bought this after the one with vacccun suction kept coming off when driving. This attaches and locks on the air vent. I would have liked if the magnet was more powerful than though. I need to take my phone cover off to mount my phone. But its definitely better than the previous one I bought.
