This is by far the best phone holder weve ever had. Theres a metal ring that sticks to the back of your phone, or the case, and the magnet sticks directly to that ring. The connection is strong and the phone does not go anywhere. I though lt it would put strain on the vent, but everything seems secure and fits well. Im really impressed with this thing. Weve previously used the suction cup ones, but in Florida, those just dont always work. They frequently pop off, usually while your driving. These magnetic ones work amazingly well, and weve not had one issue with them coming off the magnet or the clip coming out of the vent. Its perfect for my spouse who spends a lot of his job in his car driving. He can see his phone easily and it stays in place for maps or whatever is in use. Only issue, you cannot put the metal ring on the inside of a phone case, the magnet is not strong enough to go through the case. If your phone has a case, the ring will have to go on the case and the back of the case must be flat for this to properly stick. I cant use this on my phone case because it has a textured back, but my spouse has an OtterBox and it is flat and the ring sticks fine to that. Something to consider.

These are nice little magnetic car mount phone holders, they go on easy, the magnet is strong and it swivels to use it at different angles. It fits on my Honda with no problems but it will not work on my husbands Ford truck. It seems his vent levers are too long. So that might be something to check before buying.

I had some other magnetic phone holder, but with my new Kia it wasnt fitting the vents. These have a very long grip portion that it worked. Easy to install and the ring magnet for my phone is grat even under my case. Something that I had issues before was that either the magnet wasnt strong enough, or was too strong. The magnet used in these are strong on holding, but as soon as you put pressure on it, it releases the phone without you fighting.

The MagSafe magnetic phone mount attaches to the vent baffle. I like the fact that the retractable hook will attach to either horizontal and vertical vent baffles. The magnet assembly connects to the base by a ball and turret so you can freely adjust the mount in any direction; up, down and sideways. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone (without outer case) in place over bumpy roads and through quick turns.

So far I have liked the car mount. I previously bought a Magnetic case so I have not needed to use the metal rings that you can add to your non magnetic case. The connection the holder has with my magnetic case is strong but easy to remove. The swivel ball joint works well to angle the phone at any direction as needed. The clips seem secure to the vents. Only drawback is that because its a two piece (vent clip section + Magnet section) joined by a ball joint, it does protrude off the vent a ways. I would prefer a slightly slimmer profile.

Today received this innovative product for car mobile holders. It’s handy to mount it in the car with a powerful magnetic stand. Really worth to buy with this price tag. Good product .
