I like it because the magnetism is very strong, and my phone can be sucked up even with the phone case on. and the suction is very firm.

This is by far the best phone holder weve ever had. Theres a metal ring that sticks to the back of your phone, or the case, and the magnet sticks directly to that ring. The connection is strong and the phone does not go anywhere. I though lt it would put strain on the vent, but everything seems secure and fits well. Im really impressed with this thing. Weve previously used the suction cup ones, but in Florida, those just dont always work. They frequently pop off, usually while your driving. These magnetic ones work amazingly well, and weve not had one issue with them coming off the magnet or the clip coming out of the vent. Its perfect for my spouse who spends a lot of his job in his car driving. He can see his phone easily and it stays in place for maps or whatever is in use. Only issue, you cannot put the metal ring on the inside of a phone case, the magnet is not strong enough to go through the case. If your phone has a case, the ring will have to go on the case and the back of the case must be flat for this to properly stick. I cant use this on my phone case because it has a textured back, but my spouse has an OtterBox and it is flat and the ring sticks fine to that. Something to consider.

Overall, Im very happy with this car mount. Its very easy to use and it holds my phone securely in place. The magnets are very strong and Ive never had my phone fall off. I also like that its adjustable so I can position my phone in the best spot for me.

Love that these install on the vent so no need to stick something onto my dash or into my CD player. Vent mounting keeps the phone cool when its running in hot weather. Mag safe works well with a phone case with ring or bare phone, so nice, solid connection.

Ive tried using this kind of thing with my phone in the past. It would always inevitably fall off and tumble under the seat. But this magnet is really strong. I dont think I will have that problem anymore and I can safely use my GPS at eye-level instead of in my lap.
