If you love Mr. Clean magic erasers, then I seriously suggest giving these a shot. I don’t find them quite as durable long term (still pretty durable), but they are substantially cheaper. There is literally nothing these little wonders can’t handle. For example, did I spill honey (curry, red wine, warmed wax melts - I’m prone to spilling things) on my counter and was lazy and didn’t clean it till morning? Yes, I did. And this little worker was all, “NBD, I got you!” Also super great on walls and doors. Gets the dirt off, while keeping the paint safe. If one spot gets too worn, I just cut off that worn piece and keep on using. I absolutely love this product!

I use this product every day on all types of surfaces. Its gentle, doesnt scratch, and has the ability to remove stains from all types of surfaces without too much effort.

I was looking for a chemical free cleaner that performed well. I tried and liked Mr. Clean Magic Eraser but was disappointed by how quickly it fell apart. Decided to try the STP alternate and found them to be a superior product over the Magic Eraser. STP lasted 3x as long and did not crumble as quickly or as badly as the Magic Eraser. Do Realize, both wear out rather quickly. Both worked well for me on certain tasks and horrible on other task. Both performed best when getting the sponge wet (not just the surface being cleaned) and rince the sponge often. Both products removed old stains that other cleaners (fantastic, vinegar & water, soft scrub) didnt. Both sponges did well cleaning: 1. Plastic tub & shower walls 2 Wood cabinets 3. Floor Tile (ceramic & vinyl) 4. Grime off metal & wood doors 5. Plastic deck rails Neither sponge did well cleaning: 1. Old Grease off kitchen stove 2. Old Grease & grime off kitchen tile behind stove 3. Glass stove top

Clearing permanent marker off of plastic surface? Check. Removing hard water stains off shower windows? Check. Getting the last bit of food crust off a pot or pan? Yeah, but not very easily and the eraser breaks down fairly quickly. Scrubbing the dirt off the rubber soles of your sneakers (even after doing a pre-wash)? Shreds into a million pieces. Price is nice and they generally do the trick, just not for the toughest jobs. Brand name will break down too, just not as quickly as these. Is the weaker product worth significant savings? In my opinion, yes (unless the brand name pricing drops significantly). Pro tip - if youre going to cut these up into smaller erasers, dont slice them too thin (bc theyll fall apart WAY faster). Aim for thick cubes rather than thin sheets. DO NOT put melamine foam in your toilet tank thinking it will clean the toilet bowl with each flush. It wont. DO NOT use as an alternative to toilet paper, wet wipes or bidet, you lunatic! Actually, dont use toilet paper as an alternative to wet wipes or bidet. Actually, dont use wet wipes as an alternative to bidet. What Im trying to say here is, uh.. DO get a bidet and enjoy having that region properly clean all day. #makeamericasbuttscleanagain DO let the kids build a pyramid out of the melamine foam blocks. DO wear gloves while cleaning with these. They can be brutal on your skin. Its been ten minutes without obsessively cleaning something, so wrap this review up I must!

I love these. There is a bit of a learning curve as you dont push hard and scrub, but if you use fairly light pressure they clean wonderfully. I use them for walls, windows, and at the kitchen sink for the counters, dishes, and appliances. They clean the stainless refrigerator doors great. They are the best tool Ive found for windows. Just spray the glass with cleaner, wipe with these, and dry with a microfiber towel and windows come out cleaner and easier than any other method Ive ever used. They are not good for real heavy-duty jobs like BBQ grills, but everything else cleans up quickly and thoroughly. They are cheap enough to be discarded fairly quickly. I use a new one in the kitchen, but when it becomes worn I use it in the laundry sink, on floors, or even windows although I usually use new ones on windows.

I cleaned my whole kitchen, plus some of the walls and doors in my living room with like 1/2 a sponge. So yeah Im set for the next few years at least lol

This stuff is beyond amazing. I felt like I was in an infomercial, but without the b.s. One sponge removed all the greasy, oily, dirty hand marks in our apartment, the worst of which were built up around the door knobs and door jams. I cleaned some of the worst browning marks on my doors in under 10 seconds with one sponge and some warm water and it makes a HUGE difference. I felt like i was in a commercial the way I could actually make one effortless swipe across a dirty spot and watch it just completely vanish (you can see in my last picture that I swiped a small edge of the sponge once on the edge of the banister the and it left a clear distinct white spot through one of the nastiest brown spots in the apartment). With a little scrubbing it also removed the toughest scuff marks from our walls and floors left behind from furniture. These are way better than the Mr. Clean magic eraser because theyre exactly the same material, but the extra thickness of these sponges makes them way more durable, especially for those really tough spots that require some moderate scrubbing. One of these has lasted me way longer than the Magic Eraser, plus the price difference is insane. These are way cheaper. Im so happy with this purchase.

    Greater than one week

I was a skeptic… I clean houses for a living. I use magic erasers on a daily and I have to say that by far these are the best bang for your buck. The thickness is great, it allows you to cut in half and get 2 for the price if one. Very durable. I love them! The only problem I have is that I waited so long to give them a try.
