> 3 dayI bought these as a potential alternative to Magic Erasers, because I was attracted to the price point and great reviews. So, perhaps unfairly, I used it on my most challenging job, cleaning the baked on gunk in my much used Breville oven. While it was OK for this task, it wasnt as effective as I hoped. I had a piece of Magic Eraser left over and it rubbed off the same dirt much more effortlessly. HOWEVER, these sponges did an AMAZING job of removing scuffs from painted surfaces without disturbing the paint. With Magic Eraser, you need to apply a bit of pressure to erase the scuff, but the paint comes off with the scuff if you apply any sort of pressure,so the process was counterproductive. With these sponges, you can bear down a little bit and have a perfect outcome. I would buy these again for removing marks on more delicate or painted surface.

> 3 dayI like to leave one of these in the shower and push it around with my foot every few days to keep the soap scum out of the tub. I also like to use them in the bathroom sinks, to clean coffee stains out of coffee mugs, and even clean the bottom of my iron. These are nice and thick and a good value.

> 3 dayI was a skeptic… I clean houses for a living. I use magic erasers on a daily and I have to say that by far these are the best bang for your buck. The thickness is great, it allows you to cut in half and get 2 for the price if one. Very durable. I love them! The only problem I have is that I waited so long to give them a try.

> 3 dayNot even close to the actual magic eraser, these are just a glorified sponge that falls apart quickly. A total waste of money.

> 3 dayI was looking for a chemical free cleaner that performed well. I tried and liked Mr. Clean Magic Eraser but was disappointed by how quickly it fell apart. Decided to try the STP alternate and found them to be a superior product over the Magic Eraser. STP lasted 3x as long and did not crumble as quickly or as badly as the Magic Eraser. Do Realize, both wear out rather quickly. Both worked well for me on certain tasks and horrible on other task. Both performed best when getting the sponge wet (not just the surface being cleaned) and rince the sponge often. Both products removed old stains that other cleaners (fantastic, vinegar & water, soft scrub) didnt. Both sponges did well cleaning: 1. Plastic tub & shower walls 2 Wood cabinets 3. Floor Tile (ceramic & vinyl) 4. Grime off metal & wood doors 5. Plastic deck rails Neither sponge did well cleaning: 1. Old Grease off kitchen stove 2. Old Grease & grime off kitchen tile behind stove 3. Glass stove top
