> 3 dayNot even close to the actual magic eraser, these are just a glorified sponge that falls apart quickly. A total waste of money.

> 3 dayWhile I purchased these for one thing, we ended up using them all over the church to clean, even kids got into the act. All you needed was a little water and one of these great sponges. We cleaned pews, painted areas, they are GREAT!

Greater than one weekI bought these as a potential alternative to Magic Erasers, because I was attracted to the price point and great reviews. So, perhaps unfairly, I used it on my most challenging job, cleaning the baked on gunk in my much used Breville oven. While it was OK for this task, it wasnt as effective as I hoped. I had a piece of Magic Eraser left over and it rubbed off the same dirt much more effortlessly. HOWEVER, these sponges did an AMAZING job of removing scuffs from painted surfaces without disturbing the paint. With Magic Eraser, you need to apply a bit of pressure to erase the scuff, but the paint comes off with the scuff if you apply any sort of pressure,so the process was counterproductive. With these sponges, you can bear down a little bit and have a perfect outcome. I would buy these again for removing marks on more delicate or painted surface.

> 3 dayIll keep getting these things, because nothing else works like it. Heres how to use it: Get some water on it, but dont soak it. Rub firmly on glass, chrome, whitewall tires, Formica countertops, tub and tile, stovetop, toaster oven surfaces, refrigerator, sink, woodwork, door frames, doors. It does not absorb or soak up anything, so follow with paper towel, especially for glass and chrome. What it does is remove greasy residue and stuff that normal cleaners dont. Great for smudges in a tub, and the invisible residue on countertops. I got a used toaster oven in like new shape in minutes. Those dark smudges around doorknobs and on door frames wipe away easily. These things are essential. When it starts feeling like a soft sponge, its done. It works best when its fresh, stiff and starchy feeling, but you can reuse it a couple of times. It will fall apart pretty easily. Still worth it. Tip - slice the big block lengthwise with a chef knife to make two thinner pads, for more surface area and uses.

> 3 dayI like to leave one of these in the shower and push it around with my foot every few days to keep the soap scum out of the tub. I also like to use them in the bathroom sinks, to clean coffee stains out of coffee mugs, and even clean the bottom of my iron. These are nice and thick and a good value.
