Plastic case was broken when received. My daughter was disappointed, but didn’t want to have to go through the hassle of returning.

Thread is of a lesser quality. If your looking for DMC colors or quality, this is not the product. Case is hard to close, if at all. Color matching is hard. It will get me buy for the project I have to finish for my Art Major.

The thread is a little more fuzzy than what I bought at the craft store. I hope that doesnt mean my project will get blurred sooner than conventional pin-store threads. But otherwise great value.

I am working on getting together my gifts for the holidays and wanted to find some nice crafting gifts for a holiday party I am going to. I really liked the price of this kit! The materials are nice and varied, and it comes with all tools needed for hand embroidering which is great! The only thing that bothers me about it is the box. It is super finicky to put all the sections back together and get them snapped shut. It took me several minutes to wrangle it. But I suppose it is more about the contents inside.

I love how compact it it, yet holds everything you need. Easy to open trays.

The thread is not DMC quality - it is not sturdy. Many colors missing while some colors had 5 of one color. The carrier is designed well but I will stick to my own thread.

My daughter loved this. She makes bracelets and this keeps everything in 1 place. The colors were beautiful and a great variety. She loves it! Highly recommend for anyone!
