262 Pack Embroidery Thread Floss Set Including 200 Colors 8 M/Pcs Cross Stitch Sewing Thread with Floss Bins and 62 Pcs Cross Stitch Tool,4-Tier Transparent Storage Box

I decided to take inventory of the colors so that my wife would know what colors she had and could follow some specific embroidery designs. There were 13 duplicated colors meaning there were only 187 colors in the set. Still a lot of colors and its a nice little beginners kit of low quality thread, but I wont buy another one of these for anyone else. If it says 200 colors, I want 200 colors. If you are going to make a mistake give me more than 200 colors, but not less than advertised.

If you need 150 different colors, this is not the set for you. There are definitely 150 different separate thread bobbins, but a lot of them are repeated, and there doesnt really seem to be any sort of rhyme or reason as to what gets repeated. I have about 6 of the same colored pink in mine. The stickers with the DMC number code also tends to fall off, so if thats important to you, youll probably want to reinforce the sticker with tape or write in on the flimsy cardstock yourself. As many reviewers have mentioned, the case itself is flimsy (actually, its a good description of the entire kit), and you essentially get what you pay for. I think its a good starter kit, but if youre a serious cross stitcher or embroiderer, I wouldnt personally recommend this kit. If you need a random variety of colors and a box to keep them all in, this is probably for you. While it covers a wide range of assorted colors, theyre not evenly distributed across any color wheel I can think of.

I started embroidering recently and i loveee the color verity in this. I am a beginner but honestly the quality in the threads seem really good! I already made a couple of things and everything came out so great. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes to hand embroider. Very good gifting item as well.

It arrived broken. The top container was cracked and the top latch was already broken off.

This has everything needed, except the hoops, for the beginner. The thread is visible through the container and there are so many colors.

Have one other kit and now can do much more than before, nice beginners kit.

For the price I paid for this, the quality of the floss is terrible. The items are jammed into the carrier and my opinion is overall this is a total waste of good money. Would not recommend buying it at all.

Excellent variety of thread colors, cheap but useful accessories, and cute little case to keep it all together. It was stuffed so full, I took out the removable dividers to make more room. 5h x 6w x 6d, smaller than I thought it would be. The tabs are a little flimsy and can be a bit difficult to pull off/push on. but overall, a very good value.
