Container is easy to open and easy to use, without making any mess, if youre careful. Can was so fairly slim and easy to work with in the space I had available for repair. Used the oil on an old oscillating fan I have outdoors. Fan motor would hum but no movement at all. If youve ever experienced this issue, you can sometimes spin the fan manually and it will gradually work by itself after that initial force. So for my particular repair, theres pieces of rubber that dry out because I have the fan outside on my patio, in constant hot and humid weather (S. Texas locale). Oil was not available at my closest Walmart and I didnt want to make the drive to Home Depot or Lowes. Shipping on this was slower than they estimated, though it was free. The can came out to just over $9, if I recall correctly. For my uses, that small can will last me a couple years, so its worth the money to get the right product for the job. Very satisfied with purchase

I like 3-1 not 100% sure companies really change products like this but I am sure they do some testing. In my case I used it on a shampoo machine and it sounded better and thats all I can go by. I feel any motor especially electric create heat and lube helps

This is the only oil that I have ever used for lubrication of motor shafts, working parts, hinges, etc. It is my go to remedy for squeaky fan blades. A must have.

Classic 3 in 1 oil. Wish it still came in the old style metal can. Lost a star for the cheap plastic bottle. Hard to remove and install cap. The old metal cans easily open and close.

Purchased this oil to overhaul a vintage Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub I was rebuilding. Did some internet searching to find the proper oil to lube the hub with after disassembly and cleaning. This brand of 20w motor oil was recommended. Another reviewer of this product mentioned using this oil on the SA hub. Was not disappointed with the results. In addition to greasing the ball bearings (loose and in retainers), this oil was added to the internal parts before reassembly. So far no complaints with the hub. Will add this oil periodically to maintain the hub. I have also used this oil on my 30 year old sewing machine with excellent results. For anyone 3 in 1 oil it is important to purchase the motor oil for such applications as the Sturmey Archer hub.

Not sure how much I can write about a little bottle of oil but I purchased this after trying a similar product (as a proof of concept) from a different brand on an old, WELL used but still in great condition Honeywell HT 800 fan. I have already tried this oil after the same issues with the fan cropped up. The motor was trying, BUT itd either go slower than it should have been going OR it was not spinning at all. Its a tad dusty I admit but nothing wrapped around the shaft. It was (best way to say it but may not be the perfect adjective) getting sticky to a point ... just ... like tacky or something .... I cleaned everything off and around various point that hold the shaft in (and especially around where the shaft and the motor come together at the back of the fan, I put a good amount of oil there and as I am typing this ... My Honeywell on LOW is how it was spinning on HIGH before this fix ... I may have to do this every so often but as far as I am concerned ... this oil made my fan good as new. I do agree with others, that clipping the top at the very top most part that you can, makes this a piece of cake to control the flow ... too low and in some use-cases, you will have oil everywhere ... the nozzle makes putting the oil in tight spots, RIGHT WHERE YOU NEED IT, easy. For various little projects, I can totally see myself buying this again. I used it on a fan to make it new again, but I could see this being great for simple stuff like say squeeky cabinet doors that you just live with ... not sure itd work but getting a little bottle of this and trying it out on various things may be worth it

I bought this to lube a the chain on an erg (rowing machine), and it did the job like a charm. Couldn’t beat the price either.

It says for 1/4hp and up, but it even works great on small wattage sleeve bearing computer fans. I had 2 fans that were acting up and making a humming noise, now theyre running as silent as ever. Didnt even need to take apart, just put a few drops on the shaft and let it seep down. A complete no-brainer for the price, as new fans would have run me $20+
