> 3 dayDecent price, usually I lose a small can like this before I use it all up. Electric motor oil it fills the bill.

Greater than one weekMy bicycle depends on this oil for its internally geared hub (Yes, the hundred year old patent!). Youd think that when the 3-IN-ONE went from tin-can alley to plastic bottle, that theyd have given you a spout that wouldnt break off in your bike bag. It shouldnt cost more than a few pennies to manufacture a better closure. Knowing the lightning lethargy of progress, I just take off the wrapper and cap then pour the contents into an empty lighter fluid bottle. TAPE THE LABEL AROUND THE REPLACEMENT BOTTLE WITH CLEAR PACKAGE MAILING TAPE. Problem solved. The gears leak enough of this oil on my bike; they dont need help from the bottle itself.

> 3 dayEnd of story, used to oil my HVAC blower motor as most techs just stand their and do nothing but have no problem taking 300 bucks, even though their supposed to take blower apart. Their lazy cause either their new hires or just plain old lazy. This is for the blower motors with no oil ports where you must basically take apart to get to bearing filter elements cause just spraying oil on everything is not the proper way and can shorten motor life expectancy.

> 3 dayThis is a handy bottle to have by the crosscut shredder to keep it lubricated to handle thicknesses of paper, as well as credit cards and CD/DVDs of data to be destroyed. Read you shredder instructions for its maintenance advice. For us, this fits the bill and wasnt too expensive. You may find it more cheaply in a local hardware store. Check there first.

> 3 dayNot sure how much I can write about a little bottle of oil but I purchased this after trying a similar product (as a proof of concept) from a different brand on an old, WELL used but still in great condition Honeywell HT 800 fan. I have already tried this oil after the same issues with the fan cropped up. The motor was trying, BUT itd either go slower than it should have been going OR it was not spinning at all. Its a tad dusty I admit but nothing wrapped around the shaft. It was (best way to say it but may not be the perfect adjective) getting sticky to a point ... just ... like tacky or something .... I cleaned everything off and around various point that hold the shaft in (and especially around where the shaft and the motor come together at the back of the fan, I put a good amount of oil there and as I am typing this ... My Honeywell on LOW is how it was spinning on HIGH before this fix ... I may have to do this every so often but as far as I am concerned ... this oil made my fan good as new. I do agree with others, that clipping the top at the very top most part that you can, makes this a piece of cake to control the flow ... too low and in some use-cases, you will have oil everywhere ... the nozzle makes putting the oil in tight spots, RIGHT WHERE YOU NEED IT, easy. For various little projects, I can totally see myself buying this again. I used it on a fan to make it new again, but I could see this being great for simple stuff like say squeeky cabinet doors that you just live with ... not sure itd work but getting a little bottle of this and trying it out on various things may be worth it

> 3 dayelectric table fan has been gradually slowing. cleaning and regreasing the metallic bearings helped for a little while but resistance to rotation was starting to recur. Re-cleaned the bearings and used the 3-in 1 motor oil. Fan spins freely again but being a thin oil, I expect to have to reapply on an annual basis, depending on duration of use of the fan. Smells like oil, not disagreeable. I use this now over the 3-in-1 general purpose oil since it doesnt polymerize to a sticky film ( at least it hasent yet).
