> 3 dayThese thumb drives work fine for a couple of weeks but then they start dropping connectivity. The drive is plugged in and the light is on and im using the files on it but then it stops showing up on my computer and then reconnects and disconnects over and over for no apparent reason.

> 3 dayI bought these to send a few GB of pictures to relatives for ancestry purposes. When I plugged in the first one to my Mac, the light came on the back of the USB drive and I started the copy process. Before any files made it on, my Mac locked up and then rebooted. After booting up again, with the crazy complicated error window description, I initiated the copy process again and it worked fine. Some of the other open windows/apps at the time completely lost work in progress, though. The EXACT same thing happened on the second one. I was smart enough to close all my other work prior to the copying process. The 3rd one copied about 3X as long to copy, but did not hang and reboot. The 4th copied blazing fast, relatively - kinda what I expected to begin with. The 5th was crazy SLOW, taking about 15 min for 2GB, where the regular ones took about 5 min, and the one that took about 1 min. I have plugged each one back in and the files are all present and will open, so Im hoping they work after mailing to family. I will probably never buy an off brand again, and would definitley not use these for any kind of archiving.

> 3 dayThese are advertised (black blade) USB 2.0 so should have a 400+ mb/s transfer rate. I cant get them to transfer any higher that about 10 mb/s and it waivers between 7 and 12. SCENARIO: Windows 11/Intel i5 PC. USB 3.x (red blade) ports. Max transfer rate from HD to SSD is 125 mb/s. Usual transfer rate from HD to SD card is around 20 mb/s. Usual transfer between HD and tablet via USB-C is 25 mb/s. So these USB flash drives are more than twice as slow as SD cards. Transfering from SSD or HD to flash drive saw no difference in speed. Content is 10g worth of 12 video files. Way over 10 minutes to complete task! Didnt matter if ports were off motherboard (back) or front panel. Once written videos can be read without stutter. Thats the good news. But distributing 10g of archived videos for X-Mas presents is going to take 2 hours for 10 USB flash drives! Argh! Should have watched the specs better and spent more. 2 stars because they do seem to work (like big old floppy drives). EDIT 11/21/22: Final project was 25 files, 15.1 gig, and it took 27 minutes to copy to each thumb drive. With 10 drives it took all afternoon. sigh.

> 3 dayGot these for routine computer backups at work. There are a lot of cheap usb flash drives on Amazon with poor reviews for quality or longevity. These were rated fairly well, and I needed something reliable and durable, so I got the 10 pack so Id have backups. So far so good. Only gave it 4 stars because one of the 10 was DOA right out of the package. No computer in the office would even recognize it. The other 9 installed immediately, plug and play. Given that I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this, Id say a cheap 10 pack like this with only 1 bad drive is better than most available on Amazon, until you start looking at drives 2 or 3 times the price.

> 3 dayPerfectly fills the need of an old system that cant see larger memory. The 10 pack comes in a quality package as well, that can be used for storage
