05-06-2025These are great little USB Sticks. I did not have any problems with them! I use these to put on and play music files with. They are easy to format and load with songs to take with to use in the Car Stereo and home stereos. I put different Genres of songs in different drives so that they can be kept separate. Really handy little devices! You can write the type of music contained on the plastic body of the drive or stick a label on the little metal attached clip. They are the best!!

> 3 dayWorks right away on modern Macs, no formatting required. Blinking light for drive reads especially entertaining.

07-06-2025I bought these so that I could put family photos on them and mail them to my siblings. I had about 3GB of media to put on each thumb drive. Invariably, at some point during the process the transfer of files would stop and the estimated time of completion would keep getting longer until the computer said that it couldnt transfer the files because they were corrupt. Then it made me format the thumb drive and start over. The files werent corrupt because they opened just fine. Even after restarting my computer the same thing kept happening. The final straw was when it told me to format the thumb drive but then flashed a message saying the it couldnt be formatted. I bought a different thumb drive locally and transferred everything (2.5 gigs of media) in about 5 minutes with no issues. Again, DO NOT BUY THESE PIECES OF CRAP!!!!!!

> 3 dayOut of the box (of 10) , these flash drives were formatted exFAT. I reformatted to NTFS and tested writing a group of files totaling 120MB and the time spent is 12+min! Painfully long for 120MB that takes under 40sec with a Sandisk Cruzer Glide 64MB formatted NTSF using the same PC. I retested with other flash drives from the box and reformatted NTSF and the result is the same! I subsequently initiated a return that is promptly handled thru the Amazon website. I was packing the flash drives for return today and suddenly Bulb! Maybe the flash drive controller cannot handle the NTSF file system? Correct! If you keep the exFat format these drives came with then transferring the 120MB group of files above is under 45sec which is practically OK. Also reformatting to FAT32 would yield a similar writing time under 45sec. I have not use these drives long enough to report their reliability, but surface testing with utilitie like Minitool Partition Wizard reported No Error. You may surface test in Windows Command Prompt Administrator with command CHKDSK /X /F /R, that I also did and it returned no error. In summary these drives work well with exFAT and FAT32 format but stay away from NTSF format.

> 3 dayAfter my computer decided to stop booting last week, I found myself using another machine to write different bootable USB recovery images to my one free thumb drive, in an effort to get it working. Now that its back up and running, I decided to get these to keep static boot images on in the event of another problem. The different colors make it easy to keep them straight - pink is the backup software recovery disk, black is the bootable antivirus, red is the windows recovery, etc. They come in a nice box with a form fitted foam insert and even lanyards for each one if desired. Easy enough to store the drives in the box on a shelf as an emergency recovery kit.
