> 24 hourI have used these for years--they do a much quicker and overall better job than belt sanders and changing grit pads is a breeze. There is, however, one serious glitch. In heavy use, the pad locks permanently to the spindle. Meaning that no available leverage or torque can get the damned thing off when you need to replace it. I have tried using anti-seize grease, I have tried loosening immediately after each use, I have tried modifying an open-end wrench to supplement just pulling on the outside of the disc with the spindle locked--basically nothing prevents the problem from recurring. Since the pads are so expensive, one uses them as long as possible. But sooner or later, the pad must be replaced (try VERY hard to avoid catching the edge of the pad on the edge of hardwood!). At that point, frustration ensues. It makes an expensive sander unusable after one or two pad changes. This alone has made me switch from Makita to Nieko--they have the same problems, but the Nieko costs 1/3 the Makita and works nearly as well.

> 24 hourThese hook it pads and paper system work great. Be aware that there are 5 hole and 6 hole mounting options for attaching these to the sanders they are intended for. Know which one you need before spending your money. I goofed on it.......

> 24 hourProduct labeling does not match image. The AMZ online product image matches my 4 year old pad but what I received looks like it was done at the copy store. The pad color is the correct yellow but the labeling on the back side of the pad looks cheap. The pad and hub are not as nice quality as my old pad. For this price I expected better quality.

> 24 hourSeems amply rugged. Ive swapped pads and disks only about 15 times so far, but have noticed no loss of adhesion of the hookit surface. Seems to work well with all the pads and disks Ive tried. Maybe too well, it takes some finesse to get a foam pad off without tearing the foam.
