Greater than one weekWe are restoring the exterior of a log cabin and this disc pad works great with 3M sanding disc in 40 and 60 grit.

> 3 dayI purchased this Hookit Disc Pad in addition to my Kawasaki variable speed buffer, as I wanted a quick and easy way to change out from using it as a buffer to going to a sander, polisher, etc. The price is somewhat high, but it is 3M and as always appears to be very well made. It uses standard velcro style backed pads (sandpaper, polishing pads, etc) and makes the changeover very quick. It also sits a bit higher than the standard pad on my buffer, which gives some extra clearance while going over the car or boat. It just helps to avoid those quick little bounces off the finish to really mess up your day! LOL. This is fairly universal from my understanding, so it should work with almost any buffer or sander that is not an random orbital unit.
