> 3 daySo two things, first I was dumb and thought this was 6 pads, which is not the reason for 3 stars, but I did notice that they wear considerably faster then the 6 pads. Not sure why this is, construction seems fine and same as 6, but they definitely went quicker.

PLUMMER
> 3 dayI have a new car that was ruined by some construction. Iron sanding particles imbedded into the clear coat. I wanted the best and to be very careful. 3M is the answer for a DIY. More money but the forgiveness from control and consistency is there. I wish they were sold in smaller batches and about half the price. I found that a box of 15 will do a car, but probably not a truck or van. And I milked the pads as far as I could. I would say 1 pad will cover about a 3x3 area consistently then it is pretty much 3500 or 4000 grit. It pulls 1500 trizac scratches out fast about 3 pass maybe. This really is a pro product, but with care you can use no problem with EXCELLENT results. Sanding a cars clear coat with this is very easy....VERY. I was nervous about it at first but not anymore, watched the videos before I did anything, and it is as easy or more than the video to remove paint imperfections. Dont be afraid of 1500 either.

> 3 dayI am a guitar maker. I have tried countless things for buffing. Fine sandpaper, pumice and rotten stone, rubbing and polishing compounds, Abralon pads, and Micromesh. None of them cut as clean and leave less scratches than the trizact. They wash out pretty good so you can get a decent amount of use from a single disc. They are expensive, but vs everything else I have used, these save me a ton of time and leave a way better polish.
