4 Film Favorites: Dirty Harry Collection (4FF)

These are Movies that are very good Clint Eastwood movies, glad I bought them.

Whats not to love about Dirty Harry? Go ahead, make my day. A mans gotta know his limitations. The 44 magnum speech ending with do you feel lucky punk? The special features on these discs were quite enlightening. Speaking with an older Eastwood about some of the criticism that surrounded the movies when they came out, of which I was totally unaware. I was like Dirty Harry, just wanted to see the criminals get what they deserved.

This is a 4-DVD set of some of the best cop movies from the 1970s. The original Dirty Harry movie set a new standard for tough-cop-action films that lasted for decades. These movies are arguably as good now as when they first smashed onto the big screen. And a great price for 4 great Clint Eastwood films.

If San Francisco brought Dirty Harry out of retirement they would not have all the crime problems that the do now. He would clean that city up.

Great value for great actor

Sorta like a western saga : seen one, seen them all... Has lots of good supporting actors filling in gaps for lack of better script writing... Sudden Impact and Dirty Harry are the two to watch: others are just usual time waster to distract while you vacuum or do laundry... He has many other titles that would earn him a better 5*** but these dont qualify... Many movies he directed and stared in are some of his better films to watch a second time... Take the bizarre Play Misty for Me as a Saturday nite date flick with the high school prom queen... Now thats a winner with parents too... But the price is okay, so just get the foursome and be happy...

Great value for the all five Dirty Harry movies. However, what three year-old did Time Warner hire to do the graphic for the Dirty Harry disc? As can be seen in the photo, the graphic shoes an entire cartridge exiting the barrel of the gun - not just the bullet itself! And, as everyone who has seen Dirty Harry is well-aware, Dirty Harry carries a Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum Model 29 which is finished in blue steel, not stainless steel as the graphic illustrates.

All good here
