Bought for my daughter who is 15. She loves it! She uses these for her bracelet making. I see a lot of people say its a lot smaller than they thought; however, I did blindly measure with my ruler before I bought, so I knew exactly how big it was. Love the many colors and a lot cheaper than Hobby Lobby for sure. Perfect item to keep her busy. Thank you!

The tote is a lot smaller than i thought it would be, but it is perfect. The bobbins are all labeled with the DMC numbers.

Box is packed with every thing you need to start your embroidery project, except for hoop and fabric it is a great gift. The storage container is packed full of items and threads with nice color selection.

Great case, contains great string and items. My first box was cracked but was quickly replaced. There are repeats of some colors, but it is a great base kit to get you a lot of different colors.

Just received this and have only opened it up to check the contents - but what I have seen so far is impressive. This was smaller that I had expected. Which is absolutely a good thing. The stackable holder packs a lot of items into a very compact space which is awesome considering how crafts tend to sprawl. The box itself feels study enough for good use from an adult or older child to use without breakage. The floss felt like good quality, and I am a big fan of the embossed bobbins. A few of the notions felt a little bit on the cheaper side but still worth it for those starting out that don’t already have equipment. I bought this mainly to get the storage box and marked bobbins, but the entire set is extremely well put together and worth the price.

Great gift

The case is compact, but that makes me happy because I have a very small space. This is chock-a-block full of thread, a set of needles, a needle threader, pin cushion, safety pins, thimble, scissors, measure tape, etc. The thread is vibrant and on bobbins! Thank goodness. I plan on using this for my small weaving projects and am very pleased overall with this purchase. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

This was exactly what I was looking for when I picked up cross stitching again. It keeps everything organized and in one place, it has all the tools you’ll need, and there’s plenty of variety in colors to do basic projects. The only problem I have with it is that the spools of thread cannot be stored upright. I would like to be able to see the numbers on them at a glance, but if you stack them with the numbers on top, they’re too tall to shut the case all the way! Besides that, it’s a great place to start for cross stitching/embroidery. You might still need to buy a few extra colors if you’re looking to do something specific, but I’ve found close enough matches in this kit for everything I’ve worked on so far.
