5 Inch 8 Hole Hook and Loop Replacement Sander Pad for Craftsman 315112170, 315116940, 315116950, 315112180, 315279870 Random Orbit Sanders

This is a poor substitute for a Craftsman part. It broke the third time I used it with light use only. The plastic ring where the screws anchor it to the sander all sheared. I would not recommend this product.

Good replacement for favorite sander. Also, good service.

Only used it once so not sure about the longevity but seems to be good quality. As for fit and adhesion it is great. When through about 10 sheets of sandpaper with no issue. The last one felt as secure as the first. Great replacement for original.

Installed easily. I was afraid my old sander was a goner when the pad came apart trying to remove a disk. This made it good as new. Unable to find it locally.

Bought this item and it was a direct replacement for my sander

As a replacement backing for my Craftsman 5 orbital sander, this was priced well and fit perfectly. The four original screws fit well to mount it. I did notice that after using it for about 20 minutes off and on, I lifted it off of the piece of wood that I was sanding and the sand paper shot off onto the work bench. No others did this, and I cant say it wasnt the sand-paper manufacturers fault. So far, this replacement backing works great!
