> 3 dayThis thing is a huge time saver, Ive been using it to scuff the box on my truck to prepare for the bed liner. Ive been running it in my cordless drill at the low setting. It makes my drill very heavy while holding it and it pretty large in diameter. If you have a lot of nooks and crannies to get into, you might want to find a smaller brush. This is perfect for the floor of the box but the sides around the wheel wells are a little tight. A few quick passes takes the shine right off, sit there too long or have the metal cup hit the surface, and youll be into the primer or metal pretty fast. Ive done over half the box at this point, and it still appears to be new with the exception of the dust on it.

> 3 dayBought two, both were closer to 4 1/2. Returned. Manufacturer confirmed that 6 wheel is approximately 4 1/2. Surprised they dont call it a 10 wheel instead, as long as they are just making it up.

> 3 dayFirst things first..do NOT use this brush with an angle grinder (most are 10,000+ rpm and will absolutely destroy this brush and be impossible to handle) I went out and got a cheap automotive buffer meant for buffing car paint. I got mine from Harbor Freight for $45. Buffers work great because they have variable speed settings, and they have sturdy grips to hold on to. IMPORTANT: Make sure the buffer has a 5/8 shank so that you can unscrew the buffer pad and screw on this brush. This thing cut down my sanding time by like 500% and it makes life a breeze! Dont spin it too fast! Sometimes slower speed setting the best. I sanded the bed of the truck in the attached picture in about 5 minutes tops. Absolutely worth its weight in gold. TL;DR: Buy a cheap buffer with 5/8 shank, dont use this with an angle grinder.

> 3 dayFirst, this is actually about 4.5 in diameter which, for me, is better. I put this on a slow speed angle grinder and used it to clean a slate bathroom floor and a travertine and slate shower in about 15 minutes. The mineral deposits disappeared along with ten years of accumulated soap residue. After re-sealing the shower the floor looked like new. Had similar results in the kitchen. Dont clean grout without one. My angle grinder was running at 2,200 rpm. Id go a little slower if I could.

Greater than one weekI started sanding my truck bed with sand paper, brushed wire, etc. It was taking forever. It took me 3 hours just to get a 3x3 area done. I know the pros must have a better method. I did a little research and this is what they use. You can do a whole truck bed in less than an hour with this thing. A regular side grinder turns way to fast for this. You need either a buffer type sander or a side grinder with a variable speed. Like 2000 rpm max. 1500 rpm is even better and more controllable. It doesnt take too much paint off, but it can if you stay in one area too long. It will take off loose paint and it scuffs rust enough to treat it with rust converter spray. Its the perfect tool for scuffing a truck bed. I dont know why these things arent a common thing to find. They should be sold right next to the bed liner paint in every store that sells the stuff. You still have to sand corners that the brush cant reach by hand but this is so much quicker and it really roughs up the bed for good adhesion. Prime the bare spots with a good etch primer or metal etch, clean the bed really good with a degreaser, ajax, purple power, dawn dish soap, then clean with the reccomended solvent, then apply your bed liner. I wouldnt use this for a thin paint because it leaves some deep scratches, but for a bed coating, it gives it lots of tooth for adhesion.

> 3 dayThe great thing is no stray wires flinging off that is the norm for a wire cup brush. Works great for all sorts of shapes and items. Has a lot of bite, so it needs a variable speed grinder. Used it to clean up a frame and engine compartment prior to paint.

Greater than one weekThis thing is awesome! First used it to scuff my truck bed before spraying in a liner. Since then I have used it for a lot of projects from cleaning aluminum to removing adhesive from a deck hatch. Tough enough to clean what you need but soft enough to not destroy what your working on. Very durable also.
