Completely sanded two large log homes down to raw wood. Some folks use media blasters, but I found those ruin the draw knife detail on the logs. Although they do not state the grit, it comparable to Osborn brush.(around 80 grit). Last longer than the Osborn brush. Get the variable speed large Makita sander/ grinder and keep the RPM’s at 2000 or less so you will not deform the bristles. Great product. Sold one cabin for high 6 figures and the new owners were amazed at the quality of the finish on the exterior. Lot of work but was well compensated.

Sanded the bed of my new truck with this product and I couldnt be happier. Conforms well to different textures and it did an outstanding job in scuffing up the surface to apply my spray in bed liner. I would highly recommend this product.

This is a good product for scuffing up or sanding. you have to spin it at its recommended speed or slower or it melts away quickly and will transfer the plastic to the surface. its a very aggressive and hard to control sanding action, any highspots were stripped off quickly. it has a lot of torque as it flattens out to 8 inches when you spin it. You dont want it to be flat. The slower it turns the better it sands. The brush fits into the corners and curves well and you bear down on a little to fit into dents. Use safety gear / a good dust mask and sand outside - it makes dust. Used yard blower to remove most of dust. I used a Harbor Freight $20 angle grinder which is not the correct tool and toggled the power switch to spin slowly. This put stress on HF angle grinder and and it was OOC after doing the bed scuff and 6 dents that needed to be done . I accomplished stuffing the pickup bed truck in about 1 hr. Using the wrong power tool to run it It was well worth it. Still have 3/4 of brush left. I was prepping bed for DIY $100 herculiner coating; due to unseasonable exceptionally freezing cold weather= I could not keep my garage at a stable temperature. Bed was sprayed with base Line-X. My friend is happy because were doing his truck with free DIY coating and hell supply refreshing drinks.

This is the best way to prep you bed for liner. This was done in 20 minutes. Works way better that sandpaper.

Perfect tool for the job, if your prepping a bed for a spray in liner you need one of these to prep the bed.

How did I not know this was a thing until now? This took the top layer of paint off the bed of my truck in prep for a DIY bedliner application with very little effort. The kit came with a single sanding sponge - are you kidding me. I spent about 45 minutes sanding just the front wall of the bed and then got this. The rest of the bed took me about 30 minutes, and that was doing a super thorough job. Ive used it on a couple other things since and it never clogs no matter what. Its probably already saved me well what I paid for it in what I would have spent on sandpaper.
