> 3 dayOverall Im satisfied with this purchase. The colors are nice, vibrant and no breakage issues. My only problem is that many spools have no tail to get started. I end up digging, cutting and sometimes make a mess of things. I did complain to the company and they replaced the spools with a new set. Good customer service! I would order these again.

> 3 dayIm having a hard time getting this to work with my Brother PE540D very disappointing.... going to look up better brands and start the return process tomorrow. This stuff is TERRIBLE! Im looking into getting a refund. I do not expect to be running to the post-office to be returning this item either. Its messing up my machine, breaks, the numbers are in a horrible spot they need to be in a place convenient to the consumer, I cant find the end on the spools. Over $45.00 dollars for thread that should be useful, shame on you what a rip off.

Greater than one weekI have to say I am pleasantly surprised at how beautifully this thread stitches on my projects. I have used silk, rayon, polyester threads from some of the more expensive companies like Gutterman, Madeira and Sulky. I had a lot of breaks and ruined projects from many of those threads. No more! Ive been embroidering happily for days now and am saving up for more thread by this seller. Shipped fast and was packaged well. Potential downfalls to those buying this thread: There is no locking base, the numbers are on the top of each spool as a sticker and there isnt a color chart. These things are easily overcome. For the thread: Even with my locking based threads, I prefer to use scotch tape. I found that the locking bases on most threads can shred them and cause tears or breaks. The scotch tape is reusable and keeps the spool from getting tangled in storage. I only use the scotch brand as some of the cheaper ones leave residue. Just a small piece attached to the end of the thread to the spool is all you need. Onto the numbers: Spend the time to peel them carefully off and put them on the inside of the spool. That way youll still know what number corresponds with Brother Polyester threads. Lastly, the color chart: This is an easy fix, you can find it on Brothers website. I printed it off and keep it in my sewing cabinet. Easy fix. So if you dont mind a little prep work, I say go for it! I love this thread and I am glad I listened to the other rave reviews. For those that are having breakages, there is one thing always to remember: Thread the machine with the presser foot up. Although this might not help for all, this is something many sewing/embroidery machines fail to tell you in the manuals.

> 3 dayI am just entering into embroidery....so this was a way to inexpensively get a wide variety of colors. The few spools I have used as of this writing have worked fine. Only one had breakage during job...and that could be on me. The other reviews of hard to find ends are FALSE. I unwrapped all of them and didnt have one that the end was hidden - they all had a small tail that was looped though spool. As for the reviews of color code, there is an end marked with the number color code that has a hole punched in middle so it pretty much stays on, but I also wrote with a sharpie on the spool end in case it falls off or I lose it. I have a few expensive spools that in comparison are smoother thread, but for the price and to get a wide variety of colors this is a GREAT BUY! My opinion, buy this for the color array of those spools not used as often and go expensive for those base colors you use a lot of (black, white, red.)

20-11-2024Great thread, wonderful colors but my only complaint is that the labels are on stickers that fall off easy. I had to relabel them all with a marker which makes it harder to read.
