63 Brother Colors Embroidery Machine Thread

I love all the colors

Let me start by saying that I am a homemaker and new to machine embroidery. I do not sale my items or make a larger number of things. I mainly do smaller items like bibs, hand towels and small lunch bags. So I am unsure how this product would hold up on large projects. Also, be sure to use the correct stabilizer! The thread can only do so much without the proper support. I received my order almost 10 days ago (on 4/15/2014) and I have spent each day since then working with this product. I have made twelve or thirteen projects in the last nine days and used 25 of the 63 colors of thread. I am really enjoying them over all. I only have a few small issues. 1) There are no color names on the spools, only stickers with numbers. The stickers tear leaving the number unreadable once you place it on the spool holder on the machine. This can be fixed by spending some time taking each sticker off and placing it inside the spool. It is time consuming but it works. 2) There is no included thread color chart, looking up the thread numbers online each time is not fun. Ill print one out when I can, but just keep that in mind. 3) There is no notch or base to tuck the end of the thread into after using it. This makes it to where the thread can come unwound. I just cut a small notch into the base of each spool with sharp scissors. Be careful if you try the same method!! It is a little time consuming but it works. My last and biggest issue with the product is that while it includes a large number of colors several of the colors are so close in shade that I cant tell them apart and there is not enough variety. For example, there are nine shades of yellow but only one shade of brown, a light one, no tan, no dark browns. The photo shows several brown and tan shades but only one was included in my box. This may have been a fluke. I was a little nervous since some reviews mentioned that the thread broke a lot but that has NOT been an issue for me. Over all I am reasonably happy with my purchase. I did have to buy a few colors from our local shop to complete my projects due to the lack of browns in my package but I had to have them for the project to come out right. I would rate the cost and quality of this item as 5 stars. Due to the color selection I rated 4 stars.

the color name and number was on top of the spool and when you put it on the machine you had to remove the sticker. there was no place to put it but on the bottom of the spool and it wont stick very well so you have to be careful not to lose the sticker.

Bought for daughter. She loves all the colors.
