> 24 hourBeautiful threads. When it comes to embroidery threads, it can be a matter of personal opinion as well as how well a particular embroidery machine handles them. I like these better than the leading brands. They lay smoothly with beautiful luster. My Janome 9850 has no problem embroidering with those. So far no thread breaks. I don’t like the spools themselves. Threads can unravel quickly, as there is no thread lock on these. This is where the leading brand spools shine. But when it comes to saving money, I’d rather deal with the poor spools than pay premium for well engineered piece of plastic. This set comes with beautiful variety of 63 colors, I couldn’t imagine wanting more. The bonus tear away stabilizer is nice. Works as expected. It gave me just the right tension for embroidery and tore at the stitching in a nice smooth action. I am really happy with this set.

> 24 hourMy latest shipment of New Brothreads was delivered today. As usual, fast shipment, nice packaging and great threads. This kit even came with stabilizer. Ive ordered this thread before, my multi-needle loves it and so do I. Colors are vibrant and stitch out perfectly. No breakage or shredding. Couldnt wait to use them on my latest project. If you are considering purchasing, dont hesitate - youll love them.

> 24 hourI am just now getting ready to attempt my first project using an embroidery machine. I have to say that I was very pleased when I open this package and saw the quality and quantity of the colors included. I opened a few spools and pulled on the thread, finding it to be very sturdy and of a quality material. Don’t know how they offer so many different colors of thread as well as a stabilizer for the price they are selling the set for. Very happy with the set and glad to recommend it.

> 24 hourThis Kit is a nice way to see a large portion of the colors available, before committing to a single-color larger spool. Because the spools themselves are very small, less than a tenth of a standard industrial spool, they would be intended for smaller projects or one-off style items...An excellent option for a home sew embroidery machine with smaller print areas. There are conversion charts available online if you use Madeira or Isacord threads, that assist in finding color matches for the brother brand or vice versa. But I find these useful for more hands-on customers in our shop who want to see colors against their garment or to check the color value.

> 24 hourI got these for normal sewing, as it was clear that this wasnt embroidery thread in the sense of craft embroidery thread (packaged in skeins), but just regular sewing thread. However, these spools dont really work on normal sewing machines, as the bottoms have very, very wide holes, and thus they wobble around on the thread holder. I did just get a brand new sewing machine that has that odd horizontal thread holder on it, but I dont normally use it, because I prefer to use large spools of thread and they dont fit in that odd space. But I had to use the horizontal thread holder with these spools, and I had to put the free gift nets on because otherwise the sewing machine just kept dropping the thread, which literally just falls off the spool if you look at it for too long. So while the colors are lovely, and there are so many to choose from, I dont think Id recommend this to folks who just want thread to sew with on a machine. By hand it would be ok, for sure, though. And I dont know what the embroidery machines do with thread, but other reviewers dont seem to have had a problem using it, so I guess its just normal sewing machines that these arent made for. If you do get them, be sure to use the little nets, as they do seem to work to keep the thread on the spool or in the machine, and not wandering around all over the place. Once I figured this out, the thread worked fine for sewing, even with very thick materials, so that’s a plus.

> 24 hourI love using this thread for my freestanding Lace embroidery projects! It runs really smoothly in my embroidery machine and I never have issues with it skipping or jumping or getting tangled at all. It is consistent all the way through. So many brands have issues with quality near the middle or end of the spool, but every single spool of New Brothread thread that I have used is absolutely perfect. I really enjoy using this colorful and quality thread in my projects.

> 24 hourThis thread comes in beautiful colors and the selection is amazing for such a good price. I have never had a problem with breakage or shredding and I have used it in several different mediums of fabric, towels, watercolor paper and even mulberry paper. I just cant say enough good about this product. I am so glad I found this company as the thread is top notch and a fraction of the price of embroidery thread I can purchase at my local shop for their name brands. Stabilizer that comes with the set is also very good quality.
