63 Brother Colors Polyester Embroidery Machine Thread with Bonus of 10x10yd Medium Weight Tearaway Embroidery Stabilizer

I love Newbrothread! It works well in my machine, and the colors are beautiful. What I like best about it is the colors are numbered. Since I have a Brother Dream Machine, it tells me what color to use, and the colors match the number on the thread - Im color challenged, and this makes everything so easy. This is my third order of sets.

I got these for normal sewing, as it was clear that this wasnt embroidery thread in the sense of craft embroidery thread (packaged in skeins), but just regular sewing thread. However, these spools dont really work on normal sewing machines, as the bottoms have very, very wide holes, and thus they wobble around on the thread holder. I did just get a brand new sewing machine that has that odd horizontal thread holder on it, but I dont normally use it, because I prefer to use large spools of thread and they dont fit in that odd space. But I had to use the horizontal thread holder with these spools, and I had to put the free gift nets on because otherwise the sewing machine just kept dropping the thread, which literally just falls off the spool if you look at it for too long. So while the colors are lovely, and there are so many to choose from, I dont think Id recommend this to folks who just want thread to sew with on a machine. By hand it would be ok, for sure, though. And I dont know what the embroidery machines do with thread, but other reviewers dont seem to have had a problem using it, so I guess its just normal sewing machines that these arent made for. If you do get them, be sure to use the little nets, as they do seem to work to keep the thread on the spool or in the machine, and not wandering around all over the place. Once I figured this out, the thread worked fine for sewing, even with very thick materials, so that’s a plus.

So many colors! I am researching purchasing an embroidery machine and looking forward to utilizing all these colors in my creations. The kit has a Spool Color Chart with a photo of the thread color, color name, and number. On the reverse side is a beneficial conversion chart for Brother, Madeira Polyneon, and Madeira Rayon. The 10 x 10 yards tearaway stabilizer included in the kit will help me with the learning curve of using an embroidery machine. The seller even threw in a gift of several thread nets! Im set and ready to go!

The colors are very nice. Im still learning my embroidery machine, and I tried a free snap tab design on vinyl. I had a couple problems so it didnt turn out perfect, but I dont think it was the threads fault. I dont have any brother thread to directly compare, but the colors specified in the design chart were brother colors and a few of them were included with this set and from what I can tell, they were the same color. Overall, I have no complaints.

I bought this just a starter kit and honestly it pretty much has every color I need.

I am in LOVE! I had the brilliant idea to personalize 18 blankets and beach towels as Christmas gifts this year. Previously I only had 2 colors of embroidery thread (Red and Green) because its REALLY expensive at my local craft store. I made everyone stockings one year & really hated the idea of only being able to afford maybe 2 more colors... Including pics of the color chart to show how easy to pick the color you want. How it made it stupid proof & I really need that at this point lol. And can now do way more. I also needed more stabilizer and WOW! in the starter kit was SOOO much better than what I got at the craft store and easier to use instead of a 3 wide I had to keep folding back up which just made a mess. Its thicker and sturdier too which I think made my letters WAY crisper. If I can find a picture of the stockings, I will add it and there is a Very noticable difference in the clean lines. Even the back of it looked good & that is different for me in a good way. I am no where near a pro, and had to watch the DVD on my embroidery machine again because I wasnt that impressed last year with how things came out and hadnt touched my machine since...now I am excited!

This thread works great with my Babylock embroidery. Nice color selection. Not one thread break.

I like this thread set because there are so many colors from which to choose. The colors are bright, and so far have been colorfast without bleeding onto my projects. The embroidery thread spool storage is well-made, without splinters, and there are enough extra pegs for my other colors, as well. I prefer to hang the spool storage as I have bumped similar spool holders in the past, causing a cascade of embroidery spools all over the floor and table. The thread doesnt stretch too much , like with some inexpensive embroidery thread. I havent had issues with fraying or thread breakage with this thread any more than I do with the more expensive brands. The price point is nice because often in my projects, a thread color is just a shading or accenting color in the design. Those colors in a project dont require much thread, so this thread palette is good for increasing my color range without breaking my wallet. It comes in a box that is easily wrapped for a gift if desired, but I am keeping my set for personal use.

I just received a new embroidery machine, plant to spend the long Thanksgiving weekend learning how to use it. It’s a Brothers and started looking for the best quality thread, well turns out that is Brothread. It’s like the industry gold standard. The kit is perfect for someone just getting started or has worked with their machine for years. It’s high quality, vibrant colors and a wide range of colors included in the starter kit. It’s a must have if you just started embroidery

This is such an awesome starter kit and such a great gift for someone starting out using an embroidery machine. With an assortment of 63 colors and stabilizer a newbie can get started right away. I have used this thread with both my Brother pe800 and my Babylock Meridian without any problems. It does not shread or break and the colors are amazing. I have been using Brotheards thread for a while now and this set will allow me to replace the ones that I am running low on. I have also used their tearaway stabilizer and I know you will love it. I highly recommend this set and will purchase again.
