Im so excited to give this to my mom for Christmas. She loves doing embroidery and this set has a full spectrum of beautiful and vibrantly colored thread. I cant wait to see what she creates with these! This is an awesome set of embroidery thread in a huge variety of colors.

I just received a new embroidery machine, plant to spend the long Thanksgiving weekend learning how to use it. It’s a Brothers and started looking for the best quality thread, well turns out that is Brothread. It’s like the industry gold standard. The kit is perfect for someone just getting started or has worked with their machine for years. It’s high quality, vibrant colors and a wide range of colors included in the starter kit. It’s a must have if you just started embroidery

I think this is a very good combination of products for someone just starting with machine embroidery or even more the experienced. I am a long time sewer but fairly new to machine embroidery so I have spent considerable time in fabric stores. The prices of all threads have gone up so much. This kit of 63 spools is at a really nice price. Getting this extra wide (to me) stabilizer is icing on the cake. And a little thing to some but I loved that each spool label already has a hole waiting to be put on instead of having to break thru it myself. I also appreciate and am keeping the box it came in until I use up many of the spools. It is convenient.

This is a large collection of good quality threads for embroidery. It is something I always keep and replenish as needed. The threads can also be used for mending and similar uses when a specific color is needed. It is something you get one time and it lasts for quite a while, perhaps a couple of years of hobby work, before you need more.

This is perfect for testing out new colors or even as a starter set! I’m so excited to use the stabilizer for patches! Freaking love this ooooh or even as a gift for someone just starting out… might have to get some for Christmas!

I just got a Brother SE700 to review and before I even got it, I downloaded the manual from the Brother site so I could see what I was getting. The machine comes with 135 built in designs. I went through each of the designs and found that ALL the thread colors for each design that goes along with the machine are included in this set. So if you are thinking getting that machine, you will want this set of embroidery thread floss which comes at a very reasonable price. Each spool costs about 50 cents a piece which is much cheaper than most embroidery spools of thread. In the past, I have spent up to $6.00+ for one spool of embroidery thread. The thread is working out fine, has not broken or gotten tangled up. All my sample stitches that I have sewn with it came out great. I appreciate the opportunity to try out these threads. Thank you.

I like this thread set because there are so many colors from which to choose. The colors are bright, and so far have been colorfast without bleeding onto my projects. The embroidery thread spool storage is well-made, without splinters, and there are enough extra pegs for my other colors, as well. I prefer to hang the spool storage as I have bumped similar spool holders in the past, causing a cascade of embroidery spools all over the floor and table. The thread doesnt stretch too much , like with some inexpensive embroidery thread. I havent had issues with fraying or thread breakage with this thread any more than I do with the more expensive brands. The price point is nice because often in my projects, a thread color is just a shading or accenting color in the design. Those colors in a project dont require much thread, so this thread palette is good for increasing my color range without breaking my wallet. It comes in a box that is easily wrapped for a gift if desired, but I am keeping my set for personal use.

This is a great set for someone starting out or someone who has been doing machine embroidery for a bit.

This Kit is a nice way to see a large portion of the colors available, before committing to a single-color larger spool. Because the spools themselves are very small, less than a tenth of a standard industrial spool, they would be intended for smaller projects or one-off style items...An excellent option for a home sew embroidery machine with smaller print areas. There are conversion charts available online if you use Madeira or Isacord threads, that assist in finding color matches for the brother brand or vice versa. But I find these useful for more hands-on customers in our shop who want to see colors against their garment or to check the color value.

Our household really needed this. We got quite a bit more crafty since pandemic lockdowns and this gave us what we needed without tediously searching out thread options. This set has a fantastic assortment of colors at a reasonable price, however we obtained this set in exchange for this review, to be transparent. The thread is a good quality and feels sturdier than some spools we have in another brand. We are happy with this choice.
